If a Model Agency offered you a year's salary to pose naked for a top adult magazine, would you ?

Whose salary? Super models' salaries (millions of dollars/year) or are you talking just a few hundred thousand dollars? I have the impression that models for ads/fashion/etc make much more money than "adult content" models. I hope the latter have fun doing their job, though I probably would not want to be any kind of model, the work is harder and much more painful than people give them credit for (and I'm not even talking about the S&M stuff, although I'm supposing that those models are supposed to at least enjoy it)... In any case, as you may have figured by now, probably I wouldn't do it, but can't say for sure -- I've been known to defend the people who have done it, it's just that I think I'd have to make too much money to overcome my possible embarrassment and given that I don't think I'm pretty they'll probably never offer that much.

I can not imagine such a thing happening, so my first thought was "Yeah, sure!"

But then I'd have to seriously reflect on the likelihood that it be republished when it would embarrass me later - such as when I'm the CEO of a Fortune 100 company. So, probably not.

I might hold out for slightly more from some magazines, or slightly less from others. But a year's salary is around the right ballpark.

They would have to be nuts to do so and a LOT of touching up on the photos, but I would still have to be paid more than I make now to do that, giving me my years salary wouldn't pay for a new computer, let alone pay for me to move away from here to avoid anyone I know who may have seen it

Probably not, since pictures of my naked body in a "top adult magazine" would almost certainly be used in a way I find offensive. ("Look, gross, a disgusting-looking fat chick, eeewww, how hilarious.")
If it was a magazine which respects people of all kinds, and they asked nicely, I would do it if they paid me very well. Modeling in any posing for [pictures/video/runway audience] way is a horrid job -- I fully understand why "supermodels" get paid as much as they do.

I heard on a news program the other day that a stay-at-home mom is worth about $130k a year with all the jobs she does. For that kind of money, you could make posters of my naked self and post them on billboards. I could get completely out of debt and put a downpayment on a very nice house for that kind of money!
