I would say over the holidays and or summertime.. I rarely go shopping though.. ( sniff) but I think I should...its not natural for a girl not to shop, am I right? Not so I guess.. but it is good to treat yourself, and a nice pair of shoes for no good reason at all does cheer you up at times!

I shop more when I'm bored, which would probably be winter.

In terms of frequency of shopping trips, I don't think it varies at all. I shop pretty much daily. I like to purchase fresh food on my way home from work. In terms of money spent, probably Autumn, but that isn't really the question.

Where's the choice for "I shop equally through-out the year"?

And, shopping for what?

I'll answer the same as I did in qualification. "There are many kinds of shopping. Clothing, furniture, groceries, etc. I could go on and on. Which type of shopping are you referring to?"
If you would have given me an answer to that, I would have been able to answer your survey more effectively. Different things go on sale/are cheaper depending what time of the year it is.

Grocery shopping happens every week. I can't remember the last time I actually shopped for anything other than necessities.

Avoid all stores when on a limited income... good advice.

Sorry, I wish I could do something, but now, I cannot change the question.
But I will ask you: When do you go shopping (clothing) more?

verouge

Maybe, if you ask me, I will tell you that I shop whenever I have nothing to do, totally nothing, no girl-friend, no work, no studying, no dinner outside, no camping, no cinema, no out-going, no friends' projects.... then I do go shopping for anything I come across, of course if I need it.

I * check * other. I go when there is something I need or want. Doesn't matter the time of year. I try NOT to go during the holidays if I can help it. Sometimes I go with my Woman just for a safety factor if she's going later in the evening.

Good point!
I could have answered better too if the question would have been worded right. I shop for different things at different times of the year. I might even hit the grocery store many days in a row or I might skip a couple weeks if my garden is producing good and it's that time of the year.

Hey - I love a clean house but I hate to clean it! * winking raspberry *

I went shopping last Saturday - food shopping because I was expecting my cousin. I must have spent more than 2 hours in the grocery store - I can take my time doing it now since I'm alone and I found all kinds of different things that I had never seen before but it seems to cost a lot more money shopping that way as many of those obscure products are on the higher shelves and unseen because they're so expensive!

When I travel I love to go to local grocery stores to find unique or different food items that are not available near me. I have found some interesting items, plus they double as souveniers for my foodie friends. Once in a while near my home I will spend that extra few bucks to try something different. Life is too short not to treat the palate.

I'm the same way. With me, it's the problems you have with fellow shoppers, Those who let their children use the supermarket as a playground, those who block aisles while they carry on personal conversations to other shoppers on on their cell phones, etc. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture why I dislike grocery shopping.

I don't think I shop anymore during one time of the year than another. I shop for things I need and I tend to wait until that item is on sale at a good price. This could happen during any season or time of the year.
