| romkey | posted 29-Aug-2005 11:49am I shop more when I'm bored, which would probably be winter. |
| Zang | posted 29-Aug-2005 12:05pm In terms of frequency of shopping trips, I don't think it varies at all. I shop pretty much daily. I like to purchase fresh food on my way home from work. In terms of money spent, probably Autumn, but that isn't really the question. |

If you would have given me an answer to that, I would have been able to answer your survey more effectively. Different things go on sale/are cheaper depending what time of the year it is. |

Avoid all stores when on a limited income... good advice. |

But I will ask you: When do you go shopping (clothing) more? |
| verouge | posted 30-Aug-2005 4:45am Maybe, if you ask me, I will tell you that I shop whenever I have nothing to do, totally nothing, no girl-friend, no work, no studying, no dinner outside, no camping, no cinema, no out-going, no friends' projects.... then I do go shopping for anything I come across, of course if I need it. |
| they | posted 30-Aug-2005 11:49am shopping? I guess the holidays is when I spend the most money... |

| verouge | (reply to teatree) posted 30-Aug-2005 3:46pm ok. Does this question satisfy you? I am kidding.

I shop for different things at different times of the year. I might even hit the grocery store many days in a row or I might skip a couple weeks if my garden is producing good and it's that time of the year. |
| Irene007 | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 4-Sep-2005 11:48am > How can you hate shopping for groceries, but love to cook?
Hey - I love a clean house but I hate to clean it! I went shopping last Saturday - food shopping because I was expecting my cousin. I must have spent more than 2 hours in the grocery store - I can take my time doing it now since I'm alone and I found all kinds of different things that I had never seen before but it seems to cost a lot more money shopping that way as many of those obscure products are on the higher shelves and unseen because they're so expensive! |
| cloudhugger | (reply to Irene007) posted 4-Sep-2005 11:59am When I travel I love to go to local grocery stores to find unique or different food items that are not available near me. I have found some interesting items, plus they double as souveniers for my foodie friends. Once in a while near my home I will spend that extra few bucks to try something different. Life is too short not to treat the palate. |

I'm the same way. With me, it's the problems you have with fellow shoppers, Those who let their children use the supermarket as a playground, those who block aisles while they carry on personal conversations to other shoppers on on their cell phones, etc. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture why I dislike grocery shopping. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to teatree) posted 4-Sep-2005 7:30pm I love it when those awful behaving kids get away from their mother for just a moment. That's when toes or heads become intimate with my cart or a box or can I am carying. |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to teatree) posted 5-Sep-2005 5:24am Hey I did reply to you you in my survey on bills about rent being included too. I didn't put it in the explanation because I just thought it would be the first thing people thought of (rent/house payment). |

| jduPres | posted 2-Oct-2005 2:37pm I don't think I shop anymore during one time of the year than another. I shop for things I need and I tend to wait until that item is on sale at a good price. This could happen during any season or time of the year. |
