| bcollins | posted 31-Jul-2005 11:22am No albums, I haven't owned a record in years. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 31-Jul-2005 11:52am I haven't owned any albums since my record player bit the dust in the mid-80's. I passed my album collection along to my brother-in-law (now ex-brother-in-law), so I don't have albums to wear out. All I have now are cassettes. I miss my album collection as I had some pretty decent stuff, at least in my opinion, including a couple of albums that are now considered collector's items. |

| bombill | posted 31-Jul-2005 6:17pm I haven't worn anything out too recently, but one that stands out in my mind is Beck's Mutations. I listened to that album at least once a day for about a year. I still love it, but I rarely listen to it. |

| patarnone | posted 3-Sep-2005 7:02pm I rent a room with Alice Stuart and her husband, Jim. Alice is a full time professional musician with 6 CDs out. She was just voted "Seattle's Best Guitarist" and "Songwriter of the Year" and was "Seattle's Best Blues Band" last year. Her 7th album is due out next year. It will be the live, sold out concert we did in February.
We listen to music all the time. My favorite album is "Can't Find No Heaven" by Alice Stuart, especially the title tune, "Hard Time Killin' Floor" and you can hear the entire song on her website www.alicestuart.com, not just 30 seconds. If the cd I play wears out, I just burn another one from the master. |
