| pandora | posted 13-May-1999 9:47pm I don't care. |
| Frostbrand | posted 13-May-1999 9:50pm pandora: And why don't you care? I'm not being sarcastic, I just have this thing where vauge statements piss me off. It's weird really, when you consider how many things out there are truly vauge by nature. |
| pandora | posted 13-May-1999 9:54pm I just have no opinion on this subject. Televised or not, it has no impact on my happiness, life, or anything having to do with me or anyone I know. So I don't care about it. |
| dpolicar | posted 13-May-1999 10:05pm Well, I don't object if they are, but I won't watch them. Then again, I don't watch any of the rest of the award shows, either. I'm all for self-reference, but I have my limits. |
| SueBee | posted 13-May-1999 10:35pm I really think there are already too many award shows on TV, not that I really care though since I don't watch much TV. |
| mandy | posted 14-May-1999 12:44am I really strongly believe there are too many award shows as it is. |
| hillbilly | posted 14-May-1999 7:30am yes, there is a shortage of televised awards shows |
| bill | posted 14-May-1999 7:51am No, and they should remove all the other award shows from TV as well. I hate them. |
| gilly | posted 14-May-1999 7:59am No, because I think it would be cruel. People work hard on this stuff, and even if the end product sucks, there's no need to made that big a deal about it. |
| jettles | posted 14-May-1999 8:58am why not, what the heck! everything else is televised!! |
| hunter | posted 14-May-1999 8:59am I don't care. I'm statistically unlikely to see them, even if they were. |
| fooyun | posted 14-May-1999 11:33am Yes! Ratings, ratings, ratings! |
| reality | posted 14-May-1999 2:15pm do you mean in their own show or as an aside in one of the existing shows? If they were glamorized that much, people might try for the notoriety. |
| eris | posted 14-May-1999 6:00pm I would be unlikely to watch them, but then, I am unlikely to watch 99.9% of American television programming. I don't give a fig whether they broadcast them or not. |
| they | posted 14-May-1999 7:35pm I always hated the "Worst List"... yeah, it might be funny, until you're on it... People are criticized for being different from other people... It's pathetic. |
| SueBee | posted 15-May-1999 6:31pm I agree with gilly and they. It seems rather cruel. |
| karmakat | posted 19-May-1999 6:49am Nah. The star attendance would be low. I mean, really who wants to pay ten thousand dollars for a dress to show up and be told "Hey, you suck". Who would they thank for the honor? "I'd like to thank my parents, my agent and all the little people who helped me suck so successfully". |
| Frostbrand | posted 19-May-1999 12:10pm karmakat: You'd be surprised. |
| mandy | posted 19-May-1999 8:38pm sounds like the kind of attention some people might thrive on. |
| karmakat | posted 19-May-1999 10:37pm Brian, unfortunately little surprises me anymore. |
| eloradanan | posted 30-May-2006 7:53pm I don't know or care. I don't watch awards shows. |
