How do you receive your wages/salary?

Sometimes I'm paid in cash, sometimes with a check, depends on who I'm working for. I substitute at family day-cares, so I'm paid out of the provider's pocket.

Cash or check or by an even trade. I am self employed, I recieve payment per client.

own my own business, so it's no wages per se... I just skim off meager profits from the company bank account. I use a bank transfer, usually.

Salary, but I think I'd get more if I was hourly.

Under my mattress, I am only allow myself to go in there once a week. I think someone murdered someone and stashed a bunch of money under my mattress. But I only allow myself one grab a week...whatever I grab..I use for the week.

i saw a billboard in the middle of a mint field that said "the wages of sin is death." i am still waiting to get paid for all my work. god is such a cheapskate.

How are things in your life?

I'm still working on my dissertation, which is going pretty well. My SO and I moved to San Francisco last year. So things are good!

What is your dissertation on?

It's on women in the Pentateuch (that's the very, very short version!). More specifically, there are different literary sources which have been combined to create the Pentateuch, and I'm looking at how those sources treat women.
