I don't watch soap operas and I'm not a deranged loner, I just thought that would be a fun character to play in the context of what I imagine a typical soap opera would be like.

...a guy that pushes a shopping cart down the street muttering to himself and picking up bits of worthless trash...now and then, screaming bizarre non sequiturs...accosting passersby and foisting an object from the cart upon them accompanied by some mystic explanation...

By chance, I flipped by a soap opera last year and the scene was quite startling. They had opened some sort of gate to Hell. It was interesting, I had no idea their plots went in such directions. But, at the same time, it was kind of lame too (poor acting and dialog).

Wow! That's not at all what I imagined soap operas to be like.

Im the one that everyone always asks for help, and im the one who keeps getting screwd over, again and again and again, everyone in my family DIES ....THREE TIMES!!!! my friends run away with other peoples babies , AND im the ONLY lesbian in soap land........ geee. soap operas suck

I'd be the young leading ingenue woman..( I 'm 31 but can pass for 21..I know this because I get I.D'd all the time and you have to be 19 here... anyway...Her name would be Mavis Holland.. and she would be from the deep south. ( I can do the accent!) she is innocent and brooding, she turns heads with her southern charm and demure behaviour... she is from a wealthy family but has left them to fly on her own...to the metropolis of Santa Barbara, and she eventually turns hard and devious...the Soap would be called. " Twin Freaks" no.. it would be called " The Old and the Booti-ful" I may start writing the script and turn it into a comedy improv play..
