| bill | posted 30-Jun-2005 2:20pm I'm pretty burnout on such things right now... ask me again in a few months. |
| dab | posted 30-Jun-2005 2:34pm I have several ideas:
space travel and exploration a company to build scheme machines I'd buy the northern half of Maine and turn it into a wilderness recreation area in line with my ideas of how such should be run. |
| cloudhugger | posted 30-Jun-2005 2:37pm Have my own business, need more room. Currently storing my things in the bathroom and a shelf in the closet. And my car. It would be great to be able to afford more training for the work I do. I would travel all over the world to learn more so I have what I need assist people in their healing. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to dab) posted 30-Jun-2005 2:39pm I might think about investing in that. |
| LindaH | posted 30-Jun-2005 2:39pm A science store!! The store would only be one portion of the whole place.
There would be different sections for different branches of science. There would be fun classes and activities for kids. There would be little labs in the back to experiment and learn things. Kids could grow things and stop by to water them. There would be a telescope in a tower out back, hooked up to a computer with stargazer software. I honestly considered doing this, but decided it's too financially risky, due to expensive and slow moving inventory. |
| Enheduanna | posted 30-Jun-2005 3:09pm It would be a shop that sold flowers and books and served afternoon tea. |

| FordGuy | posted 30-Jun-2005 3:58pm I already own my own business, but if money were no object I think I could handle owning the Hooters restaurant chain. Of course I would also have to own Anheuiser Busch so I could sell myself beer, taking the profit off in the middle and re-investing it into the business. Soon I'd own chicken farms, skimpy t-shirt companies, etc. |
| justjulie | (reply to LindaH) posted 30-Jun-2005 3:59pm there is a store like that in milwaukee, (now the name is slipping me), but holy cow was it ever HUGE. tons of stuff |
| LindaH | (reply to justjulie) posted 30-Jun-2005 4:27pm fun! |
| caviartaste | posted 30-Jun-2005 4:49pm an antique store...of course! |
| Pomeranian | posted 30-Jun-2005 4:59pm a cult where nobody had to pay to participate. |
| dab | (reply to cloudhugger) posted 30-Jun-2005 7:17pm Cool. Uh, which one? Space exploration and buying half of Maine would take more money than I'm ever likely to have. The scheme machine I might just do on my own but I don't think it'd be profitable. |
| gambler | posted 30-Jun-2005 7:53pm A huge pool Hall.......... Don't ask me why |
| Matty | posted 30-Jun-2005 9:20pm If I had unlimited funds, I wouldn't need to start a business. |
| cloudhugger | (reply to dab) posted 30-Jun-2005 11:56pm The Maine idea. We have unlimited funds, right? Space is yours too. |

| Maarten | posted 4-Jul-2005 11:19am A movie related shop (DVD's, posters, memorabilia). |

| Halifax | posted 20-Jul-2005 10:41pm I would create my own private school. I would hire teachers and staff, build a nice building and ask the teachers to form a think tank that would come up with ideas to improve the system.
Im not saying that school sucks or anything. I just think i could do it better. grades would be K-12 and beyond. I would also have a class called COMMON SENSE. This would teach things like how to do your taxes, how getting a loan works, how to buy your first car, etc. also, i would not charge private school prices. I would keep it close to the level of public school. |
| sexy1 | posted 16-Aug-2005 2:41pm i wouldn't like to open my own business, i think it would be to hard on me and to stressful |
| autumnlight | posted 28-Aug-2005 5:54pm I would buy a shop in every town in the country and make it so it sold ONLY local produce. So then everyone could eat more naturally and healthily and support their local economy not ASDA. |
| Iseult | posted 31-Aug-2005 1:57am I don't want my own business. That's plebeian. |
| Iseult | posted 31-Aug-2005 1:59am Now, I wouldn't mind being a CEO of some big ass company, like Viacom or Disney. |
| patarnone | posted 8-Sep-2005 11:47pm I would totally support Alice's business, Fulltime Job Music. We'd buy the rights to all her 6 cds and get the upcoming live cd finalized. |
| RGirl | posted 5-Mar-2006 4:21am Doggy daycare. I had the idea LONG before it was popular. |
