In dealing with family and friends, do you find that you are taking on the behavioral characteristics of your mother/father?

I am like my parents in a lot of ways, not only in how I deal with family and friends.

I look like my mother but sometimes behave like my father: impatient!!

Yes. I act the same way as my dad when I'm pissed off.

Yes, my dad is cheap and, though I fought it for the first 35 years of my life, I've started to give in. I'm still not as cheap as he is, though. I don't think I'll ever be that cheap.

I was raised by my father, and I exhibit quite a bit of his behavior. However, I look like my mother, thank all that is holy, but I haven't seen her in years, and I couldn't tell you how she behaves, and I wanted to add another sentence fragment in an effort to create the world's first quadruple compound sentence. How'd I do?

Unless it is about the sense of humor my parents had, I do my best to avoid taking on most characteristics of those who raised me. I remind my friends to let me know if I ever do and to stop it immediately.

I don't really know in regards to my father as he died when I was very young. As to my mom, I don't think I behave like her very much.
