The first Crow movie was okay, but The Crow: City of Angels sucked ass. The only I'll see a third one is if they make the Crow for this movie a woman (which has been done only twice in the comic book series).

I was actually impressed that they managed to take a cool, repeatable concept; several extremely talented actors; reasonably rockin' music; and an intricate, interesting scenic design and make a terrible movie out of it.

Brian - I'm curious, how would having the main character be female make this sequel intrinsically different? I'm not seeing how a change of sex would change the role of a character whose basic motivations are undead angst and vengeance within a setting of modern Gothic violence, sound and design.

I'm quite looking forward to Final Fantasy: The Movie.
By the way, shouldn't that be "None of the Above"?

johnathan: It would be different. And besides, there are few female action heroes, and of the ones that are out there, they usually get dumped into the "straight-to-video" brackett.

Hunter: Final Fantasy is a role-playing video game for the Super Nintendo and Playstation. The game usually involves a bunch of rag-tag heroes who get together to save the world. If you want to know more, go to RPGamer.

Bill: No way! If a movie is coming out from Squaresoft, it should have everything that Final Fantasy has: involving storyline, moving plot, great characters, and I already know the graphics are terrific! :)

jonathan: If you really need to ask that question, there's no way in hell I could explain it to you.

fooyun: Exactly! Latest news is the film will be done ENTIRELY in CGI.

Brian, This survey was dull.

Brian: You basically said "I'll only see the third Crow movie if X", where X is a female main character. What makes a female main character different from a male main character for you? Is is sexual attraction, how a female might be portrayed differently instead of a male, what?

He is just a horny pig that has admitted to objectifying females for his own pleasure.

When was the last time you saw a big-screen film with a female action-hero? Probably never! It's usually Ford, Willis, Chan, etc.

And what's wrong with just plain "different?" Doing something different every once in a while is a good thing.

Brian: Have you seen the CG for the movie yet? It looks better than anything Pixar has ever put out.

If they'd make the movie a bit more like the comix --- I'd see the crow.

As this survey was done seven years ago and I wasn't around to answer it then...I'll answer now. I haven't seen any of them yet. Where do you think this is going? They all sound like crap.
