it's amazing how many i can't recognize, being the astronomer. but I could tell you all about the stars that make up those constellations!!

The moon, she is a harsh mistress.

i love looking at the stars, if you look at them long enough w/out manmade light you can see their real colors, they are red, blue, green, purple, etc, it is so pretty, i can see why primitive cultures used them for religion

I guess I don't know the scientific names. I can spot the big and little dippers, as well as Orion's belt. That's about it.

Southern Cross (when I'm in Brazil), but that's pretty much it. When it comes to stars/constellations I'm pretty much useless.

Orion, the Big Dipper, and Casseopeia. Not a lot, but it means I can usually spot something familiar at any time of year, which is all I need as a reminder that there is still *some* order in the universe.

I love looking at the stars, but have no real interest in astronomy. I do enjoy watching how the Big Dipper changes position in the sky depending on the time of night and the season. But mostly I just like to watch them all twinkle!

some of these, assuming I can actually see any stars at all.

Mostly I can only identify the ones near the poles (either pole, it doesn't matter). The only non-polar one I can identify is Orion.
