| CGTREE | posted 29-May-2005 10:44am Of course not. I don't believe in marriage. |
| autumnlight | posted 29-May-2005 10:59am No, not at all. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 29-May-2005 11:23am Depends on the age of the people involved. |
| Maarten | posted 29-May-2005 11:24am No of course not. Wake up and step into the real world!!
|
| Maarten | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 29-May-2005 11:24am How many children that have married do you know? |
| they | posted 29-May-2005 11:33am Nope...
Hell, I'd be a virgin because I plan to never get married. |
| kirst | posted 29-May-2005 11:37am I believe that it's wrong (don't know about the "morally" part) to have sex without a strong emotionally commitment. Looking back, I wonder why I felt compelled to have sex with several of the people that I did. Wouldn't do it again. |
| bill | posted 29-May-2005 11:46am Is it sexy to have the wrong morals before marriage?
Is the moral of marriage wrong before sex? Marry the wrong sex before the wrong morals. |
| bill | (reply to they) posted 29-May-2005 11:47am You really should just get married... stop being stubborn! Give in, be like everyone else! |
| they | (reply to bill) posted 29-May-2005 11:57am In registering Mary for school, I came across a hurdle... Since Rod and I aren't married, he has no legal guardianship over her apparently. They want a marriage certificate or a court custody document to prove that he can pick her up from school or whatever.. but I think I've found a way to get out of all that. I think it's total BS though. |
| Maarten | (reply to they) posted 29-May-2005 12:43pm That's why we got married. Or else I had fill out a zillion forms so I could be her legal father, or something. |
| LindaH | posted 29-May-2005 12:44pm Anchorage schools allow the legal guardian to designate 2 people (besides mom or dad) authorised to pick the kid up. It can be any 2 people. Grandma, mom's best friend, anyone mom or dad writes in that space. |
| Enheduanna | posted 29-May-2005 1:04pm No. |
| Biggles | posted 29-May-2005 1:14pm No, but it may be morally wrong to have sex before marriage if you believe that sex before marriage is morally wrong... |
| Frostbrand | posted 29-May-2005 1:58pm Only if that was your upbrining. People who want to wait don't annoy me, but people who want EVERYONE ELSE to wait too need to just move to Iran or something. |
| romkey | posted 29-May-2005 2:10pm I think it's more likely morally wrong not to have sex before marriage. |
| Iseult | posted 29-May-2005 2:37pm No. |
| bill | (reply to they) posted 29-May-2005 3:12pm You can think of it as an act of solidarity with gay couples, who have those sorts of problems as well. Maybe, you could start a trend for straight couples who want to make a political statement in favor of gay marriage. We could refuse to get married until they let gays marry too. |
| sexy1 | posted 29-May-2005 3:12pm no not at all! |
| thevelvetcure | posted 29-May-2005 5:25pm No, it depends upon your personal morals. |
| they | (reply to bill) posted 29-May-2005 11:03pm Nah, I'm just riding on the gay coat tails really... I didn't work towards having the rights that I do. I just take advantage of the rights that gay couples have struggled for. I also take advantage of stupid tax laws... I'm like a parasite really |
| bcollins | posted 29-May-2005 11:31pm No but it may be illegal depending on where you live. |
| bombill | posted 30-May-2005 12:36am No. The Bible, which many use as a standard of morality, does cite it as a sin, but I feel that was much more important before birth control. I'm more inclined to say sex before love is the problem. Even so, recreational sex is a risky but not necessarily bad thing to do. |
| bill | (reply to they) posted 30-May-2005 7:13am leech! |
| Zang | posted 30-May-2005 9:21am I suppose it could be... |
| TrinityAnn | posted 30-May-2005 11:17pm not in my opinion, its smart not to though, because you are less likely to obtain a sexually transmitted disease because you are more likely to be (forgot the word but it means you only have one partner you sleep with) and if your married then it will probably be the same mate for many years if not forever |
| gambler | posted 31-May-2005 8:12am Who's morals?................No |
| paulyw | posted 31-May-2005 9:51am Well, I am actually undecided, assuming the couple has sex, and the women gets pregnant, and shortly after the baby is born, they break up. That is one thing I don't like to see, because the man who got women pregnant is responsible for the baby until s/he turns 18, by paying child support unless the baby lives with the father, and the mother pays the child support. |
| Matty | posted 31-May-2005 8:56pm yes, but I certainly wasn't perfect |
| kmacinct | posted 1-Jun-2005 9:40am Just like a divorce was taboo years ago, so was sex before marriage. Now it's a way of life. |
| whizkid | (reply to CGTREE) posted 1-Jun-2005 2:33pm dude, what's up with the morality thing. look homie, morality may be keepin you up at night with a standing woody. just say 'i do' in your head before you get down with your babe, |

Don't worry! I've been there and back; it's not so bad!! |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 2-Jun-2005 2:52pm I guess it depends on whether or not you're a Christian. |

| julysky | posted 2-Jun-2005 11:45pm No, not anymore thanks to the ever changing structure of marriage |
| darkroomdanny | posted 3-Jun-2005 5:55pm No, I don't think so. (A Vicar friend of mine even admitted to having intercourse with his wife before marriage) I think it's ok if you're in a committed loving relationship.

| nigel71 | posted 5-Sep-2005 11:57am Nope , whatever consenting adults choose to get up to and all that ( living with someone before commiting to marrying them is good to in my experience - is a big part of why I'm in a happy marriage now instead of the hell on earth I could've easily been in ) |

| aeconometrics | posted 30-Oct-2005 2:57am God Made it very clear one man one woman in the context of marriage. to me , premarital sex is wrong |
| inlove2004 | posted 31-Oct-2005 8:45am no i dont think it is because you want your husband/wife to satisfy you for the rest of your life and how will you know if they do if you dont at least have sex with them once before you get married |
| inlove2004 | (reply to bill) posted 31-Oct-2005 8:49am why do you think it is so wrong does this mean that you dont do it. i sure do im in love with my man. YOU should try it some time. |
| bill | (reply to inlove2004) posted 31-Oct-2005 8:59am I'm not sure what you're responding to... Initially I made some joking posts here... then, I tried to convince "they" to get married (which is kind of ironic at this point). Then, I was suggesting that straight people should refuse to get married in protest until laws are changed to allow gay marriage. But, I've been married for 9 years or so, so it's too late for me to do that. |
| inlove2004 | (reply to bill) posted 1-Nov-2005 8:28am im sorry i didnt know what you were talking about but it didnt offend me so it is all good. im glad that you are happy. sorry about all that |
| kitti723 | posted 9-Nov-2005 8:24am No, It is human nature. What do you think people did before the church was conjured up? What did man and woman do before the tradition of marriage? |
| FauxLo | posted 29-Nov-2005 6:12pm ...it's lame NOT to have sex before marriage. If you don't kick the tires and drive it around the block a couple times, you might just end up with a lemon. |
| RGirl | posted 18-Feb-2006 2:58am No, sex is natural. You need to be responsible, but its nature. |
| Gomezy3k | posted 5-Jul-2009 3:38pm Nope. Wish I had. |

I'm not married, but I live with my Woman and we have sex all the time and will continue to do so.
