I've never met him. I dislike a lot of things that he says he believes in and a lot of things that he has done. But that's true of one of my very good friends too. It might be possible to compartmentalise if I ever met Bush just as a regular chap.

Actually no. I get lewd comments quite a lot but I don't think they count!

Matty

they count in a way. at least they demostrate you sheer feminine attrectiveness. Granted, such commentary is annoying and rude, but you could look at them as a compliment.

I suppose I only see something as being complimentary if it comes from someone I have more than the basic level of respect for. Men who eye my chest and comment on it don't tend to fall into that category!

Sure, he's tolerable. At least he isn't a pushover like the Democratic candidates he ran against were (are).

It's refreshing to see a President who doesn't fear disregarding his critics for the eternal whiners and complainers that they really are.

So, to hell with those people. Go Bush!

George W. Bush is the worst president America has ever had. He ran our country into the largest debt of all time even after a considerable period of productivity before his presidency. He pushes to outlaw gay marriage and abortion, but the best citations any Republican can come up with to prove their point on these issues come from the Bible, which defeats the point of separation of church and state. He got us into a war with Iraq for the oil, even though he says that he suspected there were WoMD's. Saddam Hussein was a bad man, of course, but there are many countries in the world that are in a much worse state, some of which GWB even has the nerve to ally with. Also, he perpetuates the stereotype of a Republican as an intolerant redneck, which is unfair - I'm not going to ever say Republicans are bad, I'm just opposed to this particular Republican president. He is completely controlled by Cheney, who is the biggest hypocrite of all time: he pushes to outlaw gay marriage, but, surprisingly enough, doesn't consider his gay daughter to be an abomination of nature, just every other homosexual in the world.

Thanks for the question, I needed to get that off my chest.

I am a member of the GOP! I stand behind Bush and the majority of what he stands for. I am not to crazy about the War and the money and people that we are losing to that, but it is a good cause. I think he is doing a hell of a good job considering what he has to work with. If people would quite giving him such a rash of crap and work with him and the governement, the USA would really be the best country in the world!! So...the moral of the story is...SHUT YOUR MOUTH IF YA' AINT GOT NOTIN' NICE TO SAY AND RESPECT YOUR ELDERS!! :)
