| autumnlight | posted 9-May-2005 4:38am Yes, it does actually. You kind of dont know where to look. |
| Biggles | posted 9-May-2005 5:20am A brief foray, no. But it does seem a little inappropriate when men plunge their hands down their trousers in public and have an extensive "rearrangement" session. It's not the nicest thing to sit next to on the bus. |
| bill | posted 9-May-2005 5:43am women just don't understand! |
| ROCKMAN | posted 9-May-2005 6:41am It don't really bother me. I myself try not to do this in public though. |

| romkey | posted 9-May-2005 11:52am It really depends... sometimes it may. A lot depends on the person and how they do it... sometimes it's just gross, sometimes it's very human... |
| Updown | posted 9-May-2005 12:07pm As long as they keep their hands to themselves I am okay with it. |

| southernyankee | posted 9-May-2005 4:55pm yes, it bugs me a great deal when OTHER people do |
| momcelh | posted 9-May-2005 8:43pm uhgg. it is so nasty. there is this guy in my history class who is always hard and he's always trying to hide the fact that he's rubbing or scratching it. it is so disgusting. guys don't like it when girls scratch themselves, so why should it be any different for girls towards guys. |
| Matty | posted 9-May-2005 8:47pm it largely depends how bold the people are about it and how disgusting the scratching is. |
| TrinityAnn | posted 9-May-2005 8:51pm only if they're right in your face or if its someone your trying to have a conversation with and they are doing it, thinking that you dont notice since they're doing it under the table-which has happened to me before when i was talking to a guy friend. it seems guys tend to do this more than girls |
| freebird | posted 9-May-2005 9:07pm Yes, they should do that in private. |
| SueBee | posted 9-May-2005 9:51pm Assuming you mean anyone other than my significant other or a very close friend, yes, it bothers me. |
| bcollins | posted 9-May-2005 11:44pm It depends on how much the person is touching themselves. If it's a guy and it's obvious he's playing pocket pool then yes, it would bug me. If it's someone doing a quick, minor adjustment to fix something such as underwear riding up, bra strap sliding down the shoulder, etc., then that doesn't bother me as much. |
| CGTREE | posted 10-May-2005 12:33am Well it's kinda disturbing sometimes..yeah so I don't like it. Sure things can be itchy or out of place, but at least find some what of a private place to do it in. |

| Tazwert | posted 10-May-2005 9:34am What bothers me is when they sniff their fingers in public.... |
| Zang | posted 10-May-2005 10:02am Hardly. It bothers me a lot more when people attend to their personal hygiene in public, trimming their nails, applying make-up, combing their hair...
It also bothers me when people separate words like "themselves". |

| CGTREE | (reply to Zang) posted 11-May-2005 11:06pm I didn't know themselves was one word. I would have made it one word. Fudgeen english language. |
| godzilla | posted 12-May-2005 9:36am If they're doing it in they're private areas and I can see, then they must have invited me! Maybe they're trying to send me some sort of sekrit message!
Alas, this has never happened to me. But I wouldn't mind if it did. |
| Zang | (reply to CGTREE) posted 13-May-2005 3:48pm Ahem! That would be "Fudgein' English language." |

As for touching themselves for the fun of it, that's not necessary, as it's not a comfort maintainence issue. No one wants to see some guy fiddling with his willie, especially if he's also staring at someone.
