It doesn't bother me when they scratch. I think everyone should be able to scratch anywhere they want, and no one should judge negatively or think anything of it. I think it's ridiculous that people have to go around being physically uncomfortable (whether it's an itch, a fallen bra strap, a rock in the shoe, a wedgie.....) so as not to embarrass themselves or turn people off. Appearance is more important than comfort to a lot of people, and that totally sucks. It's backwards. People are so freakin warped.
As for touching themselves for the fun of it, that's not necessary, as it's not a comfort maintainence issue. No one wants to see some guy fiddling with his willie, especially if he's also staring at someone.

A brief foray, no. But it does seem a little inappropriate when men plunge their hands down their trousers in public and have an extensive "rearrangement" session. It's not the nicest thing to sit next to on the bus.

It really depends... sometimes it may. A lot depends on the person and how they do it... sometimes it's just gross, sometimes it's very human...

As long as they keep their hands to themselves I am okay with it.

uhgg. it is so nasty. there is this guy in my history class who is always hard and he's always trying to hide the fact that he's rubbing or scratching it. it is so disgusting. guys don't like it when girls scratch themselves, so why should it be any different for girls towards guys.

it largely depends how bold the people are about it and how disgusting the scratching is.

only if they're right in your face or if its someone your trying to have a conversation with and they are doing it, thinking that you dont notice since they're doing it under the table-which has happened to me before when i was talking to a guy friend. it seems guys tend to do this more than girls

Assuming you mean anyone other than my significant other or a very close friend, yes, it bothers me.

It depends on how much the person is touching themselves. If it's a guy and it's obvious he's playing pocket pool then yes, it would bug me. If it's someone doing a quick, minor adjustment to fix something such as underwear riding up, bra strap sliding down the shoulder, etc., then that doesn't bother me as much.

Well it's kinda disturbing sometimes..yeah so I don't like it. Sure things can be itchy or out of place, but at least find some what of a private place to do it in.

Hardly. It bothers me a lot more when people attend to their personal hygiene in public, trimming their nails, applying make-up, combing their hair...

It also bothers me when people separate words like "themselves". * raspberry *

If they're doing it in they're private areas and I can see, then they must have invited me! Maybe they're trying to send me some sort of sekrit message!

Alas, this has never happened to me. But I wouldn't mind if it did.
