| LindaH | (reply to Wolfgang) posted 22-Apr-2005 12:28pm Fun survey! |
| paulyw | posted 22-Apr-2005 12:29pm I also have a pizza oven. The type you see in the taverns. |
| Iseult | posted 22-Apr-2005 12:34pm Steamer and baking oven. I think. We had crap load of those when I lived with my mother. |
| bill | posted 22-Apr-2005 12:35pm also, bread machine, popcorn popper, waffle iron, sandwhich griller thing, ... we almost never use most of these things! |
| Enheduanna | posted 22-Apr-2005 12:51pm I have all of these except toaster, grill (although we do have a George Foreman grill), and ice-cream maker. |
| Wolfgang | (reply to LindaH) posted 22-Apr-2005 12:57pm I am glad you enjoy it. |
| Danger | posted 22-Apr-2005 2:52pm All but the toaster oven, the juicer, and the expresso maker. My family likes to cook a lot. |
| gingersnap | posted 22-Apr-2005 3:28pm Hot pot and coffee maker...there's not much else allowed in my dorm. Not even microwaves. |
| they | posted 22-Apr-2005 3:46pm Stove top (flat top--yay!), oven, microwave, toaster, blender, food processor, crock pot, coffee maker, kettle.
I also have a long flat electric griddle. It rocks! |
| Dino | posted 22-Apr-2005 4:40pm Oven that comes with top plates and grill. (Its gas)
Microwave Espresso/Cappuccino Maker Kettle |
| Matty | posted 22-Apr-2005 5:51pm everything except an ice cream maker. I like the original incarnation of this survey better, so I'll also answer that.
Most of the appliances we own are conveniences, but the two we just couldn't live without are the stove and the gas grill. I'd say we use them 70% and 30 % respectively. |
| Biggles | posted 22-Apr-2005 8:36pm Just a microwave. I used to have a kettle too, but not anymore. I have access to a hob, oven, grill (in the oven), toaster and kettle at uni though. At home, my mother has a cooker with two ovens, one being an inbuilt grill, and a hob; a microwave; a wok; a blender; a juicer; an icecream maker (doesn't work very well); and an electric whisk that has a stand to go with it, but no-one ever uses it; and a kettle. We do our steaming in the microwave. |
| Amanda | posted 23-Apr-2005 9:15am Stove top burners, baking oven, microwave oven, toaster, outside grill, blender, crock pot, coffee maker, ice cream maker, electric hand mixer, electric stand mixer, and a kettle. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 23-Apr-2005 10:07am I have all of these but the espresso maker. Plus some other things too. |
| ASexyBabe | posted 23-Apr-2005 11:38am lots of these and more. I love kitchen gadgets |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to they) posted 23-Apr-2005 11:40am what is a kettle? |
| LindaH | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 23-Apr-2005 12:37pm Me too. Our gadgets are taking over our counter space. We are going to buy a rolling island. |
| moonstone | posted 23-Apr-2005 1:50pm stove top burners/hot plate, baking oven, micro oven, toaster, outside grill-charcoal, blender, crock pot, espresso maker, coffee maker, electric stand mixer, kettle, and other things |
| moonstone | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 23-Apr-2005 1:50pm a tea kettle
|
| bcollins | posted 23-Apr-2005 2:30pm I've got a dinky little two burner stove with a tiny oven. I think it must be the kind that would be used in a camper or some other place that has little spare space. I also have a 2 slot toaster and a coffee maker. That's it. I don't own any of the other items but I don't have room for them anyway. My studio is pretty small and counter space is almost non-existent. The coffee maker sits on the stove and the toaster is on top of the fridge when I'm not using it. My compact microwave oven sits on a small table next to the stove. |
| Zang | posted 23-Apr-2005 11:58pm Toaster, Wok, Espresso Maker, Coffee Maker, Kettle and Steamer. Just the essentials, nothing fancy! |
| kirst | posted 24-Apr-2005 5:45am Most of these other than a juicer (although I have a food processor that can be used as a juicer), a toster oven and an espresso maker. I have all of these in Hong Kong other than an ice cream maker and an electric stand mixer which I have in our house in the US. We also have bread makers both on our boat in HK and in our house in the US. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to LindaH) posted 24-Apr-2005 4:14pm I need a whole new kitchen! Whoever designed it had no idea how people cook! |

| Enigma | (reply to JessicaWoman99) posted 7-May-2005 9:23pm A kettle is what you heat water in to make tea or instant coffee or hot chocolate or whatever. It is either electric or you put it on a burner on your stove. You were probably kidding about not knowing and now I look like a fool for answering... |
| JessicaWoman99 | (reply to Enigma) posted 8-May-2005 4:14pm Well I did not know that silly ol me? And I live here in Colorado and it did sound a bit funny! to call this a kettle I call it a teapot or something else that I can think of. |
| ikefox | posted 21-May-2005 7:45am I'm surprised it doesn't have a speed toaster or a double-boiler on there. |
| nonamejj18 | posted 13-Jun-2005 5:16pm wow, i pretty much selected them all |
