| gambler | posted 14-Mar-2005 7:22am Not sure why this survey languished in qual??? but I am marking this good because of it |
| jettles | posted 14-Mar-2005 8:58am regular queen size bed. |
| Cain | posted 14-Mar-2005 9:46am A regular mattress. It could do with being replaced I think ,starting to get a bit saggy. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 14-Mar-2005 10:14am Mattress and box springs. I need a new mattress badly! |
| Amanda | posted 14-Mar-2005 10:47am For almost the past week, I've been sleeping on a pillowtop mattress. I usually sleep on a waterbed, but it seemed to much trouble to put it up at my dad's only to be moving again in the very near future. |
| Biggles | posted 14-Mar-2005 11:39am A regular (crappy) mattress. |
| Wolfgang | posted 14-Mar-2005 11:45am the egg crate foam. it can turn any matress into a dream |
| Galomorro | posted 14-Mar-2005 12:41pm Other. A futon wood base (single) but on pillows as mattresses. I have a lot of pillows. I am looking for one of those lightweight futon mattresses, however. I used to have a twin-sized mattress (as part of a bunkbed) but the thing got all holey it was so old, and I tossed it out. |
| Enheduanna | posted 14-Mar-2005 12:50pm Regular mattress and boxspring. My mattress has nice padding and quilting on top (but it's not a pillowtop), so my bed is super-comfy. |
| Tazwert | posted 14-Mar-2005 2:03pm We have one of those Sleep Number beds.... |
| Updown | posted 14-Mar-2005 3:41pm Mattress and pillows. |
| anoddoblivion | posted 14-Mar-2005 3:41pm Water bed. But it's not one big bag. it's like four long skinny tubes each filled independently of one another, and you zip them into this bigger mattress. Kind of weird, but comfy. Got this bed when my Great-Grandmother on my Dad's side passed away.
When I visit my friends at college, I stay on the couch. |
| cerealkiller | posted 14-Mar-2005 5:05pm regular mattress, with the sheet rarely staying in place. Never a top sheet. A comforter when I get cold. |
| cerealkiller | (reply to Tazwert) posted 14-Mar-2005 5:07pm What's your number? My wife sleeps on one and sets it to 5 or 10. I don't have a sleep number since I hate sleeping in the same bed with anyone, have my own bedroom. |
| kirst | posted 14-Mar-2005 5:09pm memory foam |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 14-Mar-2005 7:14pm Air mattress |
| Matty | posted 14-Mar-2005 8:25pm regular mattress, California King size. |
| Glassa | posted 14-Mar-2005 10:00pm I sleep on the couch and my husband sleeps on the bed. He snores too loudly, sometimes I can hear him in the living room. |
| Zang | (reply to gambler) posted 14-Mar-2005 10:09pm In response to your comment in qualification, I see that you used:
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=bedding However, you missed something. The part you quoted was at the top under "bed". Lower down, where it actually says "bedding", it gives the definitions: Bedclothes. coverings that are used on a bed. |
| kcthedog | posted 15-Mar-2005 1:24am I chose mattress, regular. That is not a accurate statement. When I first broke up with my wife, for a couple of years I could not sleep in a bed. I could not do a regular bed routine. I almost always fell asleep on the couch, or the living room floor. Eventually I started to sleep in the bed again but always on top of the covers. Recently I have been catching myself falling asleep at the desk in front of my computer, face down on the keyboard sometimes, with the curser zig zaging across the screen because I was holding the space bar down. It is also not uncommon for me not to go to sleep at all. I may be up for 48 hours before I lay down to rest. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 15-Mar-2005 5:25am Right now I have a regular mattress, but I want to get one of those memory foam mattresses. |
| caviartaste | posted 15-Mar-2005 9:17am regular mattress, extra firm.....but I sure need a new one. You know when you have a few hundred dollars to spend....mattresses are just not something you want to spend money on. You feel like you just blew it on nothing. I guess that's why I keep putting off buying a new one. |
| Tazwert | (reply to cerealkiller) posted 15-Mar-2005 1:09pm It changes a lot, somewhere between 35 and 65 usually... |
| ASB | (reply to Zang) posted 15-Mar-2005 3:23pm I think it was pretty obvious by the options what the creator meant by bedding |
| gambler | (reply to Zang) posted 15-Mar-2005 5:55pm Yea, but was it wrong enough to Needs work or Nitpick ?.......The definition was correct in my mind (and dictionary.com's)....... Kinda like saying You are not a fast runner, but you run very quickly |
| bcollins | posted 15-Mar-2005 6:50pm I sleep on a fold out couch. |
| MizzTemper | posted 15-Mar-2005 8:06pm on a sofa bed that really sucks. Studio apartments suck too |
| Iseult | posted 15-Mar-2005 10:12pm Regular matress. What wouldn't I give for a futon. I sleep bad because my bed is too high and not hard enough for me. |
| Amanda | (reply to anoddoblivion) posted 16-Mar-2005 12:23am What size bed do you have? I have a king size waterbed that has 10 tubes. Yours must be a smaller one, huh? |
| Zang | (reply to ASB) posted 16-Mar-2005 7:41am Yeah, I guess you're hornswoggle... |
| Zang | (reply to gambler) posted 16-Mar-2005 7:42am Okay, maybe I'm being too onyx... |

| anoddoblivion | (reply to Amanda) posted 17-Mar-2005 10:48am Mine's only twin size. Only 4 tubes. I'm 6' 1/2" so I have to lay diagonoly to fit, but it works. |

| Zang | (reply to romkey) posted 17-Mar-2005 9:02pm Thanks! I still haven't celebrated. I'll be doing that on the weekend. |
| southernyankee | posted 20-Mar-2005 6:22pm mattress, regular? I think its regular. |
| jasonmreece | posted 20-Mar-2005 11:37pm A great mattress topped with a down featherbed and 320 thread count damask sheets. I don't mind spending a little extra cash to sleep comfortably...probably why I have to drive a 13 year old car. =) |
| patarnone | posted 24-Mar-2005 10:30am I have 3 foam pads each 3" thick on the floor... low to the ground and all the better for my pets to walk all over me. |
| krazykatlady | posted 29-May-2007 12:21am Regular mattress and box springs, but I'd love to have either one of those Sleep Number mattresses or a Memory Foam. |
