I'd like to be the singer from "Great Gig in the Sky" |

Pretty limited list of options. Blues. |
bill | | posted 23-Feb-2005 1:53pm |
I'd be a Singer sewing machine |
Iseult | | posted 23-Feb-2005 3:05pm |
Terrible variety of options. Where is regular rock? |
| Amanda | | posted 23-Feb-2005 3:09pm |
Maybe solo pop. Maybe something else. I've never given it much thought because I'd never be a professional singer. My singing skills suck! |

Folk, duh. |

I would be a crooner.... |
| Updown | | posted 23-Feb-2005 4:41pm |
A mix of Paul Simon, James Taylor, and Freddy Mercury. I am not sure what that is. |
| caviartaste | | posted 23-Feb-2005 5:17pm |
how about just alternative? |
| caviartaste | | (reply to Tazwert) posted 23-Feb-2005 5:17pm |
I can totally see that about you!!! |

somewhere's between a punk rocker and a rapper if I had the skills to pull it off |
| dora | | posted 23-Feb-2005 7:04pm |
I *am* a singer. As in I sing, not as in fame and money. I would be a "whatever singer".
|
| Amanda | | (reply to justjulie) posted 23-Feb-2005 9:39pm |
Great minds? I was thinking more along the line of weird minds!
BTW, did you get my email yesterday? |
| ohh_chariot | | posted 23-Feb-2005 10:16pm |
I'd be a lounge singer. There's nothing more sultry than a lounge singer's voice. |
| Jemmy | | posted 23-Feb-2005 10:48pm |
Either rock or R&B. I would like to play a guitar and rock, but I also love the big range of R&B singers. Maybe if I could combine the 2. |
| BerrieGrrl | | posted 24-Feb-2005 12:03am |
i picked 'soft rocker' like maybe an alanis morrisette or somethin, but it'd be fun to be a beyonce, too...shake my bootie, have some nice bling. |
Strider | | posted 24-Feb-2005 12:52am |
rock and roll |

jettles | | posted 24-Feb-2005 7:29am |
rock, just plain rock. |
| Cain | | posted 24-Feb-2005 8:50am |
I would like to sing metal, rather than any off the options here. A female Johnathan Davis.
What's CCM? |
| justjulie | | (reply to Amanda) posted 24-Feb-2005 8:58am |
hehehehe...weird minds, agreed.

I am a singer, although I wouldn't say that I have much in the way of talent, fame or money. I'm not sure what sort of genre of music I would slot myself into, but it wouldn't be any of those. Maybe Post Rock/Experimental Electronic? |
| autumnlight | | posted 24-Feb-2005 10:14am |
If I was going to be a singer I wouldn't be one type. My first record would be alternative, then I'd release a pop record, then a metal, but never rap. |
| Jody | | posted 24-Feb-2005 10:24am |
I'd love to be able to sing torch songs. That would rock. |
| Danger | | posted 24-Feb-2005 1:16pm |
I would be a rapper or a punk rocker. Mostly because I don't really sing well, and for those you don't really need to. Also, that's the kind of music I like best. |

Doll, YOU can be in my new Rat Pack.... |
| Starfish | | posted 24-Feb-2005 2:21pm |
Got to be jazz... I'd love to be like Nina Simone! Never gonna happen though. I'm one of those poor unfortunates who just sounds like a strangled cat ! |
| Starfish | | posted 24-Feb-2005 2:22pm |
Yeah, what IS CCM? |

Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Jackson Brown, Bryan Adams, but my fantasy would be Jim Morrison. |

I wouldn't. |
| srflorida | | posted 27-Feb-2005 11:19am |
Pop Star in a group. It would be fun and the others could drown me out somewhat. |
| Dino | | posted 27-Feb-2005 3:36pm |
Rock/Pop with a backing band.
An all girl mean ass-kicking band. Lots of guitars. |

Go with the music I like and say R&B |
| patarnone |
rock with a blues twist, like my friend Alice. Her music and songwriting is acknowledged nationwide. While in college, Bonnie Raitt heard her on the radio and fashioned herself after Alice. If Alice had not retired for 18 years to raise her kids, who knows how successful she'd be today. Her comeback started in 2000, she will be 63 this June.
Grammy nominated cd, inducted into the Washington State Blues Society Hall of Fame, Best songwriter twice in a row, best guitarist 3 times in a row, twice voted Seattle's best blues band by the Seattle Weekly... need I say more. She is one awesome lady, not just musically, but personally, too. All her tunes reflect it. And, knowing her since 1962, plus living with and helping with stuff... she is easily the most dynamic person I know.
Plus, I just LOVE her style of music. |

A very bad one. I'm the kind of singer that makes the American Idol judges roll their eyes & makes Simon Cowell cringe. |
