I love to snowboard, it's a shame I live in a flat state. |

no, I live way to far away from that and dont have nearly enough money. Here in Lousianna south of Lake Pontatrain, it snows maybe once every 10 years and the highest hill in all of Louisanna is probabbly as high as our house. I did try both at one time or another though. I snowboarded once and sucked real bad at it. I ended up spraining my writ in the process. I skied ok, but I fell a whole bunch of times and one time I rammed at some guy full speed when I lost control and he was pretty pissed about it. |

its real flat here too |

Nope. I don't ski or snowboard. I've been water skiing a few times, but it's been a while. Jet skiing......that's what I love.
How did this survey pass anyway? The question says nothing about water skiing or skateboarding, yet they are offered as options.
Bad survey.....no cookie. |

I ski, though I haven't done it much in the last few years. I'd like to get back to it. This season my wife hurt her back, so we avoided it. Though, I think we would have otherwise. Sometimes, I want to learn snowboarding too, but it's hard to commit to it. If I have a day where I want to go to a ski area, skiing is always fun. Learning snowboard would be hard and my ass would get bruised (but would ultimately be cool, if I got the hang of it). I never liked the lessons part of skiing. |

It was taken over anonymously as a fix me by someone. You should have seen the original version and related surveys about a place called Wentworth that accompanied it. They were far worse and all the Wentworth ones were HF as no one knew what the sc was talking about. This one was the only one that a chance of passing. The original version asked if we skiied or snowboarded and had an option for each, but no options for both or neither. |

Can't say I do. I've water skiied a few times, and skateboard a few times for fun. I've always wanted to try skiing and snowboarding. |

I skied once, I kept hitting trees, and decided it was too painful of a sport, I was very ungraceful on the slopes. |
Enheduanna | | posted 20-Feb-2005 1:54am |
I don't do either. Well, I have gone cross-country skiing a couple of times. |

Niether. Never learnt, never tried.
The only good thing about snow is being able sit inside a warm house, drinking cocoa and looking out the window, glad that you aren't out there in it.

I just tried snowboarding for the first time earlier this month. I sucked, but I was proud of myself for trying something new, especially something athletic. |
| iamdonte | | posted 21-Feb-2005 7:57pm |
neither - where I live, skiing would mean fightin' with the gators for a spot in da swamp and if it snowed here, then hell really would have frozen over! |
| Danger | | posted 21-Feb-2005 9:28pm |
Neither. But I'd love to learn to snowboard... it just looks like fun! |

I like watching them on TV, but never wanted to water, snow, or street anything myself. Did a few ski trips way back when, not overly thrilled with it all.
Love to watch, don't want to do. |
