Not even the first option applies to me - I suppose that means I get a minus score?

I don't get this. The first option says, "I don't reflect on the past at all, nor do I care to". Since I do reflect on the past, this option doesn't apply to me, which would mean (if I read the explanation correctly) that I should stop there. Correct? So, I abstained from answering. But, when I looked at others' answers, nobody had chosen the first option, but other options were chosen. What's up with that? Am I totally not understanding this?

I think that was just a mistake. The first option was added later, on a qualification suggestion, without regards to the explanation.

i marked only 4 of them. anyway, I wish I could go back in time and that there was technology for me to do it, but not because I miss the past but because I want to change some things, not relive them. Anyway, if there was a good reason for me preferring to live in the past than now its only because I done stupid things (in the past nonetheless) to screw myself. Also, in the past I was looking forward to the future (now) but now its just a dispointment. Maybe if I could only go back and relive the looking forward thing. Naw, I think I'd just move on.

The way the instructions and options are phrased, if someone DOES reflect on the past at all, they won't check the first option, will stop there, and will get a score of 00.

I do a lot of 'remember when' conversations with people.
The future is unknown and uncertain. I have dreams and expectations but I always end up dissapointed or surprised.
At least the past is fact.
I usually wear stuff that has just gone out of fashion - as I prefer to follow rather than lead.
When chatting to people I am more interested in where they've been, rather than where they are going.

I am very much into reminiscence and nostalgia. I collect old toys. Recalling old memories is good for your short and long term memory in general.
I'm probably a 9.5. I miss the times, but I'm not sure that it's "too painful."

By the way the explanation reads, we are to stop when we get to an option that does not apply to us. For people that do reflect on the past, the first option wouldn't apply to them. Meaning they should stop there. Correct?

I got a 3. I enjoy reminiscing about happy events from the past sometimes with relatives or old friends, but that's more to enjoy the idea that we share a past together. I have no desire to live in the past.

I am living in the present and the right now, and if I had to go back to the past, I would commit suicide without thinking about it? It is to painful for me. and you have those Churches that are living way back in the past and they need to "wake up".

Yes we do have something in common? I have been kicked out of Churches and told never to come back again. And of course I do love the Episcopal and Catholic Churches for some of them accept people as they are, come as yourself? But as for the Community Church , the Baptist Church , End Time Churches , Churches of Christ and Abundant Life Churches all Pentecostal and Evangelical Radicals , they are strange freaky Church People who go around trying to control the world and run our lives, they think that they own every human being on the earth, and they think that that they are little gods or something? For they can stuff it up their stinking no good butt!

And these freaky conservative right wing liberals will face their own, private little hell with the devil and I hope that they do, I can see them right now dancing and "shouting" jumping up and down like they got ants in their pants, and ol satan is having a party with the Evangelicals and Pentecostals, for they are just so self righteous and condemn and judge everybody but themselves. And they call themselves Christians and a Child of God? I say a child of the devil.

The past just brings up to much garbage and junk, and I would rather be dead and gone, then to have to live the past all over again. And there are Churches that are stuck in the time zone and unwilling to change their ways.

And now you know as well which ones to avoid, and they do stab everybody in the back, back stabbers is what I call them. The Catholic and some Episcopal Churches are the ones I recommend along with the Lutheran and Methodist Churches, I also recommend on a sunday and avoid the Pentecostals and Evangelicals they are mean and nasty as snakes and vipers.

What you are doing is no better than judging someone based on their race, simply because you have had a bad experience with another person of that race. Or better yet, you are transgendered, right? Do you want people to judge you based on that, simply because they had a bad experience with another transgendered person? I think not! All people of one "group" are not the same.
JessicaWoman99
(reply to Amanda) posted 15-Feb-2005 2:22am
No it is not about race , and I am transgendered and it is all about the heterosexuals the straight people, and it is not about another transgendered person no", I am talking about the straight people who do not welcome you into their Church if you are gay, transgendered , an alcoholic or handicapped these Churches have a problem with people of all races being who they are in life, and they seem to think gee! we have to change this person he or she, we do not like what we see? No sin in our Church you might pollute us and kill us. Get out, get out we do not want you in here, and never come back here. You are not allowed in their stinking butt hole Church. This is what I am talking about here the holy ghost rollers that are on drugs and brain dead, and they jump and shout and get a big thrill out of it thinking they will get to heaven , and race and gender does not matter for you are not welcome here, if you are different then they are, you have have to be good and be like them in every way?
JessicaWoman99
(reply to Amanda) posted 15-Feb-2005 2:34am
And they did not have a bad experience with me? I had a sick and disgusting experience with them and I felt like a pile of garbage is how they make me feel. And is this the Jesus Christian way throwing people out of your Church, because you do not like them and the way they look? And I do not want anybody to judge me but they do? For they play God with your life and they think that they are Jesus or something! and these holy ghost rollers never ever give up on me and it has been over 4 years going on 5 years, can you believe it? They have an axe to grind with me it seems and are ready to stone me. I mean do we have a God given right to be who we are in life? It seems not at all we have no rights in America?

I don't think you get what I am saying. I'm sorry that you've had bad experiences, but you cannot judge an entire Christian denomination based on those bad experiences. That's why I brought up the racial thing. Take this for example....I'm a white female who was raped by a black male 5 years ago. Based on that bad experience with a black male, is it okay for me to judge all black males based on that? I don't think so. I understand that you've had bad experiences in some churches. So have I. I had a horrible experience is a Baptist church, but I don't judge all Baptist people or all Baptist churches based on that. It'd be wrong for me to do that.
JessicaWoman99
(reply to Amanda) posted 15-Feb-2005 5:03pm
No I am not trying to judge an entire Christian denomination , but on the other hand it feels like every Pentecostal , Charismatic and Evangelical is very biased and prejudiced towards me, and this happens when I happen to go, to another town or city up here and I knew them before, as the other person she used to be I used to be? And they seem to have a weird problem with this. They seem to think that this is not allowed or something or they act like I killed somebody. I mean what the hell! business is it theirs that I am a woman, it should not be their concern? But they act like it is. It feels like all those Churches I mentioned before they are all alike and if there is some good ones out there, you tell me which ones they are? I mean the moment you come through the front doors they are looking you up and down to see if I am female or not". It is none of their dam stinking business who people are in this world, screw them all they all suck there butts. So the very best and accepting Churches are the: Episcopal , Methodist , Lutheran , Catholic and some other Churches and screw the rest of them.
JessicaWoman99
(reply to Amanda) posted 15-Feb-2005 5:19pm
For they seem to think that they can pry into everybodys private life , and they seem to think that they own your life for your life belongs to them. I mean if all of the Evangelicals and Pentecostals commited suicide would you go along with them or not? If they all wipe their butts or scratch them would you. And as long as I live, I will never step foot in a holy roller Church they can stuff it! I hope they stick to the ceiling and stay up there , and never come down or fall thru the floor would be great. They are doing all the nasty stinking judging and playing little gods with people. Who the hell do they think they are.
JessicaWoman99
(reply to Amanda) posted 15-Feb-2005 5:34pm
And another thing to add to this' I am seen as a woman and a lady where ever I travel or go in the world, but these people who knew me before are so hung up with who I used to be and they stick with this. And they give me all kinds of crap about it, I am so sick and tired of the bull crap and all I want to do, is live my life until I die, I would never interfere with somebody's life and we should not! but some people are so callous and they try their hardest to interrupt our life and interfere with it and this is very wrong, like a school bully and then you wonder why all the school shootings.

You seem to have some very deep rooted issues. I can feel a lot of pain from you, through your words. I'm not trying to argue with you about this. As I said before, I understand that you may have had some bad experiences in some churches. I just don't think it is fair for you to judge all people of a denomination by those bad experiences. You should only judge the people who have caused you the bad experiences. You come back to me and say that you aren't judging all people of certain denominations based on those experiences, yet you continue to talk about them as a whole. You are transsexual, correct? Well, about a year ago, a local transsexual person molested several young children. Should I judge you because of that? What you are saying about these churches is like me saying that all transsexuals are child molestors.

I am completely retro! I grew up loving old movies from the classic era of motion pictures and old TV shows from the 1950's. If I had a time machine I wouldn't hesitate to travel back to either of those eras and stay there. I also collect vintage clothes and wear them on a daily basis having given up on modern clothes entirely when I was 15 years old. I guess you could say I'm just an old-fashioned girl!
