Do you generally have an idea for a survey before you click 'New Survey'?

(As opposed to clicking 'New Survey', and then dreaming up your idea.)

0I don't really know.
0It's not one way or another for me--I have no set process for creating a new survey.

Everytime I've created a survey, I had an idea before I clicked new survey. I haven't created any in a while. Most of my surveys suck anyhow, so nobody's missing out on anything there.

What is with this option..."I've never been to survey central."? It makes absolutely no sense and is completely unnecessary!

duh, why in the hell would I click new survey (unless it was by accident) if I didnt have an idea for a survey.

then again judging from some of the surveys I answered recently, I wonder, maybe people do click new survey first and then think of something to ask.

Never created a survey for here. Created some for other sites. I've always had any survey I created well planned out first.

Why would I create a survey without knowing beforehand what I was going to create it about? Unless I was interested in creating surveys just for the sake of it so I could brag about how many I've made as if anyone else actually gave a crap.

I think it's probably done exactly what it was supposed to do...

Why would I click "New Survey" if I didn't have a survey idea?

Absotively. I must be inspired.

Yes. I don't create a lot of surveys, and when I do create one it's because I have a specific idea already in mind.

Why click on "new survey" if you don't have an idea?

I'm sure there may have been a time or two that I didn't have a fully developed idea, but I think I always have some kind of idea...

I haven't created a survey yet. I guess I'm a late bloomer.

Yes. For me it requires planning. I usually give it some thought for a couple days before actually creating and submitting a survey. For longer, in-depth surveys, I usually rough-draft it on paper first. *smile*

Always.

I enjoyed the "I've never been to survey central" option! *smile*

I thought it was added for humor, but from what she said already, I imagine biggles will say it was to get someone riled up. Either way, it worked! *smile*

I wasn't riled so much as I was confused about the option. *smile*

I don't know, I haven't created a survey in a long long time. I'm not good at it, I'd rather just answer them.

It was just a funny. Sometimes I include options like that as a passive way to bag on the regimented qualification process to which we subject ourselves. For example, if I created a survey that asked, "What do you smell right now?" one of the options might be, "I don't have a nose."

Just a funny is all.

I always know what I want before I click. (I do keep a list of possibles.)
