| Jemmy | posted 13-Dec-2004 8:41am It depends a lot on what is being made with them. For example, I'm not a big fan of drinking just vodka, but I like a lot of drinks that are vodka based. I love tequila shots. I hate beer. And I like some kinds of wine. |
| FordGuy | posted 13-Dec-2004 8:44am I like beer. It makes me a jolly good fellow. Whiskey's to rough, champagne costs too much, and Vodka just puts my mouth in gear. I like beer... Tom T. Hall. |

| pandora | posted 13-Dec-2004 2:18pm I'm still working on developing a taste for beer and richer wines. Gin and tonic is my favorite cocktail, but since I had a few too many some years back, I can't drink gin. I don't drink much, but when I do, I suppose it's usually something with tequila or vodka. |
| cerealkiller | posted 13-Dec-2004 2:45pm I see this made it after all. I voted '8 (worst) on all. And I was correct on who I figured did this survey. |

vodka-especially in a Bloody Mary rum (and Coke) gin (Tom Collins) wine (don 't care for white wine or champagne) whiskey (but not Scotch-tried it once and it was gross) tequila other beer |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Tazwert) posted 13-Dec-2004 7:35pm I cannot drink as I'm allergic to alcohol to the extent that I cannot even have cough medicine with alcohol in it or take cold medicines such as Nyquil! People shouldn't be excluded from a survey because they cannot drink alcohol no matter what the reason is. Some people are allergic as I am, some people are recovering alcoholics and some are underage. |
| Iseult | posted 13-Dec-2004 7:55pm 1. Gin. Gin and tonic is my drink of preference because of the taste and the fact that it takes a lot to get me drunk.
2. Wine. South African red wine or spritzer. 3. Tequila. I like the feeling it gives. And it's fun standing up after shooting tequila. 4. Beer. Although I'm extremely picky with beer. I dislike pretty much anything that isn't Molson Canadian or Corona. 5. Vodka. I don't like shooting vodka. Actually, only drink I can stand taking shots of is tequila, but you gotta love screwdriver. 6. Other hard liquor. I guess. 7. Whiskey. If good, it can be acceptabe. Especially in apple sauce. 8. Rum. Absolutely disgusting. Not bacardi, bacardi is okay. |

I cant really rank them that well. First off, I never had tequila, and second, most of the time, I dont really keep track of what type of acohol I am drinking. I think rum is the best and I also like Daquaries a bit, but I dont know how to classfiy. Besides, most hard liquors I drank were mixed drinks of some sorts, so it was all a combination of these. |
| southernyankee | posted 13-Dec-2004 10:31pm btw: vodka is the cheapest and you get the most for your money, but tastewide it is just plain nasty. Mix it up with something sweet that will cover up the taste and its all good from there |

I don't know if it's still the case, but pregnant mare urine was a primary source for female hormones used in birth control and HRT. You've got me imagining wild drinks now, made with bolivian tree-frog urine and dark forest cuckoo urine. |

| Irene007 | (reply to Iseult) posted 15-Dec-2004 10:35pm Fudge that.... I'm smoking again! Quit for 2 months - solid! Ben just mentioned that we should quit again. The day I know that he really doesn't have any hidden around and he has really quit - I know I will be smoke free for life... Every time I quit - I go cold turkey but he diminishes, right down to 3 a day but he lives for those cigarettes! Then, slowly - it comes back; if we're on a trip, suddenly his bladder shrinks and he has to stop often or he'll go for "walks" and find things to do outside... That really bugs me, then I pretend not to smell the smoke and ask him to not let his "passenger" light up in my car when he borrows it. I know! Vicious cycle... |
| Iseult | (reply to Irene007) posted 15-Dec-2004 11:02pm I have this theory - you just CANNOT quit. The society is working against you. Stupid friends who come and ask you to join them when they're smoking and then offer you one. |
| Irene007 | (reply to Iseult) posted 15-Dec-2004 11:35pm Yeah... Especially my best friend Molson Dry! |
