| darkshadowsseeker | posted 7-Dec-2004 2:48pm Neither...they are just breasts. |
| Enheduanna | posted 7-Dec-2004 3:09pm It depends. |
| romkey | posted 7-Dec-2004 4:07pm Either. It depends. Pornography is a human concept... pornography is something we bring to the photograph, rarely an intrinsic property of it. What may be pornography to you may not be pornography to me. It depends upon the intent of the photographer and the way that the viewer views the photograph. |
| bill | posted 7-Dec-2004 4:24pm I think it's fair to say that many perhaps most heterosexual men would be aroused by such a picture. So, you tell me. |
| Hans | posted 7-Dec-2004 4:31pm It depends on the angle. |
| dora | posted 7-Dec-2004 5:02pm It depends.

| BerrieGrrl | posted 7-Dec-2004 5:11pm i'd have to actually see the photo. i wouldn't necessarily call it porn, but a picture of boobs could be just that...a picture of boobs. it may not be art either. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to BerrieGrrl) posted 7-Dec-2004 5:33pm So they are art if they are nice boobies or nicely lighted? |
| dab | posted 7-Dec-2004 5:43pm either |
| iamdonte | posted 7-Dec-2004 6:15pm Both - it would depend highly on the format and composition of the picture. |
| southernyankee | posted 7-Dec-2004 6:29pm neither, they're just something fun to play with and look at. |
| juliw | posted 7-Dec-2004 6:53pm depends on the photo |
| caviartaste | posted 7-Dec-2004 7:34pm It depends on your perception, I suppose. Do you have oglers or epicures? |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to southernyankee) posted 7-Dec-2004 8:52pm Are you looking at them because they are beautiful? Doesn't that make them art? |
| Galomorro | posted 7-Dec-2004 9:48pm Art. It's simply a part of the human body that some people find attractive and a work of art. |
| BerrieGrrl | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 8-Dec-2004 1:15am |
| Irene007 | posted 8-Dec-2004 1:27am Depends on the lighting, the breasts, the colour, the angle etc... Some pictures may be art and others... well, may be many other things... |
| Irene007 | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 8-Dec-2004 1:30am > So they are art if they are nice boobies or nicely lighted? It could be an artful picture of the breasts of an African tribe's woman which hang down her belly as flat as pancakes. Beauty comes in many forms... |
| thevelvetcure | posted 8-Dec-2004 3:15am What does the photo say? I say more often than not in the modern day that it's porn, unless it's done with taste. Bettie Page had an interesting balance of the two, some were very artistic, and other poses that she did were quite sexual. Sensual is artistic, sexy is porno. |
| icurok | posted 8-Dec-2004 5:20am Neither, either or both depending on the context. |
| BionicLips | posted 8-Dec-2004 7:21am Legally for it to be porn it has to have something to do with sex. Just a picture of breasts has nothing to do with sex. |
| they | posted 8-Dec-2004 12:15pm I don't think it's always art.
|
| southernyankee | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 8-Dec-2004 3:13pm lol
I dont think I would particullary call breasts art. especially considering the high percentage of the population that has them. |
| heyzeus1 | posted 9-Dec-2004 3:32am no
pictures of sex acts is pornography |
| heyzeus1 | posted 9-Dec-2004 3:33am bewbs are not art.
butterfly on a nipple, maybe an incredibly old russian immagrant woman sitting with bared saggy wrinkled breasts near a crackling fire, taken in black and white = art |
| Zang | posted 10-Dec-2004 10:56am It could be either. It depends on how it is presented. If I saw a framed photo in a gallery, it wouldn't occur to me to consider it to be anything but "Art". If I saw the exact same picture in a skin mag, it wouldn't occur to me to consider it to be anything but "Pornography". |
| bombill | posted 10-Dec-2004 3:02pm Both, depending on the context its presented in. Also, the composition infers the photographer's intent, whether it be a natural study or an object of arousal. It also depends on the viewer's tastes. Some would never see the art, others would never see it as porn. For me, it'd simultaneously be both, as I could appreciate it and be aroused by it. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 11-Dec-2004 10:17am I have to call it art!!! I |
| gambler | posted 11-Dec-2004 2:43pm Both............. If it is in a Larry Flynt magazine then its porn............. If it is a photo by Annie liebowitz for GQ or Vanity fair then its art....... context is everything |
| moviesnob | posted 16-Dec-2004 9:10am Depends on the photo. |
| john1 | posted 9-Jan-2005 4:38am Because the female is the most beutiful work of art on our beutiful earth the breast in a photos cold never be anything but art at its best. By: John sweetman- bodybuilderbarbel@yahoo.com.au |
| Updown | posted 9-Feb-2005 4:43pm Pornography is in the eyes of the beholder. |
| WorldTravler | posted 28-May-2006 2:09pm It depends on the context of the picture....in hustler it is porn....in an art musiem it is art.... |
