| steve | posted 2-Feb-1998 2:55pm I'm very happy with my skeleton as it is now and have no plans to remodel it. |
| Atzilut | posted 2-Feb-1998 2:56pm neither, I detest the cold and even though there's a chorus of friends trying to convince me to try it (in a well-meaning way) I will resist. Even if I'm the Last Non-Skier-On-Earth Steve: Marry me this instant ;) |
| Timmi | posted 2-Feb-1998 3:41pm Skiing is great, and based on my one very painful experience snowboarding promises to be at least as much fun as soon as it stops hurting so much :) |
| fiore | posted 2-Feb-1998 3:42pm I really enjoy skiing. Although, learning it takes quite some time and is aggrevating, once I learned, I felt it was worth it. And you don't have to ski really fast, you can go at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the mountains. |
| Twanger | posted 2-Feb-1998 5:21pm I prefer syrup! |
| weth | posted 2-Feb-1998 5:56pm I have a nice relationship with my body. I don't wish to jeopardize this relationship by strapping boards to my feet and travelling at high velocities on near frictionless surfaces. I'll get my adrenoline elsewhere, thanks. |
| milktree | posted 2-Feb-1998 7:33pm cross country, not downhill, yet. |
| Jimmy | posted 2-Feb-1998 7:39pm Born and raised in The Valley of the Sun. Need I say more? Alright: snow is too cold. |
| Jaime | posted 3-Feb-1998 6:32am No much snow here! So, ist a bit expensive to practice... |
| bill | posted 3-Feb-1998 7:07am ski ski ski ...maybe someday I'll snowboard - but I'm not really thinking about it now. |
| TJ | posted 3-Feb-1998 10:29pm Water ski |
| Huixian | posted 5-Feb-1998 3:46am It is simply that I live in a tropical country and have had no opportunity to try either, have not had the chance to overseas. |
| djo23 | posted 6-Feb-1998 1:05pm I've never been skiing/boarding , and never intend to |
| Dahlia | posted 9-Feb-1998 4:55am I put skiing, but hey... I am biased in that I have never tried snow boarding. I think some people go to far in it, that it becomes a way of life or something. Kinda like when there was that big suffer fad, or that skater fad. Whatever... I might try the sport one day.. but if you wanna wear blinding colors, bleach your hair and tell me to hang, then get the heck away from me. |
| gilly | posted 10-Feb-1998 1:28pm I might try boarding again with *lots* of fresh fluffy snow and a pillow strapped to my butt, but other than that I'll stick to skis. Jen - let's go try the blades! I'm psyched. |
| mozzer | posted 10-Feb-1998 5:02pm It may be hard to believe , but I've never touched snow.It NEVER snows in my city. |
| mcarlos | posted 13-Feb-1998 2:51am i've skied for years. i like its grace. |
| Artemis | posted 15-Feb-1998 9:10pm snowboarding is more fun and has hotter guys too. |
| elijahblue | posted 17-Feb-1998 8:03pm have never done either, both sound fun |
| Gamera | posted 3-Mar-1998 1:43am Rollerblade!!!!!!!! I think I would probably like boarding, but not enough to go that far out of my way to do it. If I could snowboard to the grocery store (and back) I might. Or x-country ski to work-- that might be cool, too. |
| Tonya | posted 13-May-1998 11:28am Never done it |
| lelle | posted 15-May-1998 2:34pm I guess ski, since I've tried it... As long as I don't go any faster than a slow walking pace. |
| jjg | posted 17-May-1998 3:20pm Never tried either one. Don't plan to either. I'll just jump out a window to break my leg, thank you very much. |
| reality | posted 24-Jun-1998 5:12pm I'll stick to sledding thanks.. |
