| cerealkiller | posted 29-Nov-2004 12:42pm Ghost. Ghosts generally are just spirits lost between earth and the other side and don't try to harm you. Demons on the other hand are evil spirits and have destructive intent. I was told by several psychics that I have a demon spirit in my space. If just one had said that I'd laugh it off, but two different people on two different occasions? Makes you wonder. |
| pandora | posted 29-Nov-2004 1:04pm I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts or not, but I certainly don't believe in demons. |
| BerrieGrrl | posted 29-Nov-2004 1:19pm a ghost. |
| Enheduanna | posted 29-Nov-2004 1:28pm If both existed, a ghost I guess. It seems less harmful. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 29-Nov-2004 1:40pm NEITHER |
| bill | posted 29-Nov-2004 2:48pm demons are cooler! |
| Biggles | (reply to bill) posted 29-Nov-2004 4:40pm Only until they eat you. |
| moonstone | posted 29-Nov-2004 4:44pm a ghost..i see them all the time anyway. |
| iamdonte | posted 29-Nov-2004 6:07pm It doesn't matter to me. |
| juliw | posted 29-Nov-2004 6:31pm Ghost-I don't want to see any demons. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 29-Nov-2004 6:32pm I got my postcard! It is absolutely gorgeous! Thank You! (I so want to go to Oregon now!) |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 29-Nov-2004 6:49pm You're welcome! Maybe you'll make it to the West Coast some day and we can go to the coast together. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 29-Nov-2004 6:59pm I'd love that! Thanks again! I'll see if I can find a card for you. There are a FEW pretty things in Akron, but nothing that compares to that beautiful coast! |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 29-Nov-2004 7:58pm I think ghosts are more delicate and harmless. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 29-Nov-2004 8:48pm Since I've never been to Ohio, I wouldn't mind seeing any kind of photo. |
| southernyankee | posted 29-Nov-2004 9:20pm a demon because I think that demons are cooler. |
| southernyankee | (reply to bill) posted 29-Nov-2004 9:21pm great minds musta think alike |
| Jemmy | posted 29-Nov-2004 9:30pm A ghost, I suppose. As long as it wasn't scary. |
| bill | (reply to Biggles) posted 29-Nov-2004 9:42pm um... well a ghost might slime you! |
| bill | (reply to southernyankee) posted 29-Nov-2004 9:43pm all 2 of us! |
| Biggles | (reply to bill) posted 29-Nov-2004 9:43pm I'd rather be slimed than eaten! |
| bill | (reply to Biggles) posted 29-Nov-2004 9:56pm Have you seen Poltergeist? |
| LuridHope | posted 29-Nov-2004 9:56pm Neither |
| Biggles | (reply to bill) posted 29-Nov-2004 11:10pm No - is there nasty sliming? |
| gambler | posted 29-Nov-2004 11:15pm makes no difference to me..though neither is preferable |
| SueBee | posted 30-Nov-2004 12:46am A ghost would be my preference. Seeing a demon would definitely ruin my day. Not that I believe in them. Which is part of the reason it would ruin my day. Who wants to have their beliefs all shot to hell?! |
| quackabook | posted 30-Nov-2004 1:04am What happened to the suggested, neither pick? |
| ASB | posted 30-Nov-2004 1:19am bad bad bad bad |
| kolaz | posted 30-Nov-2004 2:46am A ghost is a spirit and so is a demon but since a ghost is not nessesarly a demon Ill go with the former. |
| kirst | posted 30-Nov-2004 3:07am ghost |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 30-Nov-2004 3:30am Ghost.
I see plenty of both though if you use broad use of terms. |
| bill | (reply to Biggles) posted 30-Nov-2004 7:53am worse... |
| anoddoblivion | posted 30-Nov-2004 12:09pm Other- What do you mean exactly by "ghost" and "demon"? What about Angels? |
| southernyankee | (reply to bill) posted 30-Nov-2004 12:39pm lol |
| they | posted 30-Nov-2004 2:44pm I guess I'd rather not see either? |
| Biggles | (reply to bill) posted 30-Nov-2004 6:43pm |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 30-Nov-2004 7:31pm There are some very beautiful parts of Ohio, and I will do my best to get a card off to you as soon as possible! |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 30-Nov-2004 8:09pm I remember Justina. Are you still in touch with her? She seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth and hasn't been here for the longest time. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 30-Nov-2004 8:51pm No, I am not in touch with Justina. I did write to her once (at an address she gave me ages ago). I got no reply, but for all I know, she didn't even get the letter. She could have moved or I got the address wrong, or whatever. Wicksy said he went to New York, and actually called her and asked her to meet him somewhere, and she declined. She does seem to have fallen off the face of the Earth. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 30-Nov-2004 9:05pm I know she was going through a lot of personal problems when she was last on. Maybe she just doesn't want anything to do with SC any longer. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 30-Nov-2004 9:08pm That's probably the case. It does seem like she was heavy into drugs and alcohol when she was last in SC. I just hope she is doing well. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 30-Nov-2004 9:25pm I wonder if that's why she didn't want to meet up with Wicksy. It also makes me wonder if she actually got your letter, but didn't reply because she doesn't want contact with anyone connected with SC. It seems to me that if she had moved that the letter would have come back to you if the post office didn't have a forwarding address. |
| caviartaste | posted 30-Nov-2004 9:26pm well, I've seen one....and I'd really rather see the other.... |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 30-Nov-2004 10:08pm You're right. If she had moved, the letter would have been returned to me. And that probably is why she didn't want to meet up with Wicksy. I just hope she is happy and doing well. And maybe she just doesn't want to associate with SC. Nothing personal against anyone, just removing herself from this community, if that makes sense. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 30-Nov-2004 10:21pm I know what you're saying. Maybe she had some bad experiences here or maybe SC brings back some memories she would sooner forget. At any rate, we'll never know unless she comes back. The other person I'm wondering about is harekrishnadasa (Richard). He used to be on all the time and has just disappeared as well. I know there was another Richard (Richard47) on here for awhile, but he wasn't the same Richard and got kicked off the site for being such a troublemaker. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 30-Nov-2004 10:40pm Yeah, I miss harekrishnadasa, too. I do also remember the trouble-maker Richard! I also miss this guy Brian. He was really funny, and was here in the Phoebe days. I believe he lived in Costa Rica or something like that. Not Brian W, though. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 30-Nov-2004 11:07pm I know who you're referring to. If memory serves me, I think he was a missionary or some such thing, but was he ever funny! |
| Biggles | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 1-Dec-2004 10:51am Brazil, and he worked for some kind of company. I have my doubts about him lately. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 1-Dec-2004 6:29pm Yeah, he WAS some kind of a missionary, I think! He was a riot! |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 1-Dec-2004 6:31pm Hey, guess what? It's my 4 yr anniversary at SC today! There is a little "A" next to my name |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to Biggles) posted 2-Dec-2004 12:45am Ahh...are there some bad things happening where he lives? |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to juliw) posted 2-Dec-2004 12:46am Congratulations! Yeah...he cracked me up all the time! That's one of the reasons I missed him so much because you never knew what he was going to say next! |
| Biggles | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 2-Dec-2004 11:14am Not that I know of. |
| juliw | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 2-Dec-2004 6:35pm I know! He always surprised me with his hilarious answers! |
| Zang | posted 3-Dec-2004 1:11am Not particularly. |
| moviesnob | posted 30-Dec-2004 7:23am Ghost, since demon leaves an evil connotation with me. |
| thevelvetcure | posted 2-Jan-2005 3:55am Matters not as they're both from the "other" world
If I had my choice of friendly ghost, or some "Crap Demon" from Golgotha, I'd take Casper |
| Updown | posted 19-Jan-2005 2:36pm Definitely a ghost. With the exception of a couple of ex-girlfriends (being demons) it is entirely possible I will see someone that I know. Although, I am not sure I would want to see them as ghost I know for a fact I do not want to see those demonic ex-girlfriends. |
| zorgblar | posted 16-Oct-2005 11:48am I would rather have a ghost appear in front of me than a demon because having a ghost appear out of thin air is scary enough but a demon!? |
| alucard | posted 11-Nov-2006 3:14am A ghost would (I hope) be less nasty than a demon. |
