| bill | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:00am I'm too fat... no one wants to see that. Also, it's pretty cold most of the year where I live. |
| jettles | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:14am probably not on a regular basis. maybe at the beach or something like that..... |
| dora | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:16am No. I like clothes.
|
| Zang | posted 10-Nov-2004 9:36am I'm not sure what the legalities are. I'm more restrained by the temperature and social conditioning than fear of arrest. The primary reason I wear clothing is in consideration for the comfort of those in my company. The secondary consideration would be warmth. I don't believe that the fear of arrest even factors in to it. |
| killme1042 | posted 10-Nov-2004 9:37am i hate clothes |
| BerrieGrrl | posted 10-Nov-2004 9:45am no, not like going shopping in the grocery store or anything. i might tan like that, though. |
| caviartaste | posted 10-Nov-2004 10:34am no way....I am a VERY modest person.... I won't even roam naked in my own house!! |
| cerealkiller | posted 10-Nov-2004 12:13pm It techinically is legal to be nude in public in California but you only see it for marathon races. There was a college student at Berkeley who never wore clothes.
I've been naked in public at nude beaches and resorts. |
| Enheduanna | posted 10-Nov-2004 12:15pm No. |
| Irene007 | posted 10-Nov-2004 12:50pm Topless, maybe... |
| ASexyBabe | posted 10-Nov-2004 1:03pm Yes I would.
This survey should have been single pick and where is the "other" option? *Marks survey bad* |
| moviesnob | posted 10-Nov-2004 1:59pm Nope. |
| southernyankee | posted 10-Nov-2004 3:42pm probabbly not. Unless it significantly increased my chances of attacting more women, it wouldnt be worth the embarassment and anxiety.
Then again, if every one else did it it wouldnt be the same, would it. |
| southernyankee | (reply to Zang) posted 10-Nov-2004 3:43pm I take it that you must get arrested often. |
| iamdonte | posted 10-Nov-2004 6:26pm Sure...but not sure anyone else would want me to. |
| spidertea | posted 10-Nov-2004 6:39pm Too cold |
| moonstone | posted 10-Nov-2004 6:53pm Hell no. |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 10-Nov-2004 6:59pm This was pointed out to the sc, but ignored. |
| thresholdking | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:02pm 'ELL yeah all the time, though not legal now . I have been known to break the law here and there just for kicks. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:02pm No as I'm far too fat to do this to other people except at a nudist colony. I have nude there, of course, but it's not legal to be completely nude in public in my area, however it is legal for both genders to be topless in Eugene. At any rate, with the current weather which consists of cold temperatures, fog and rain (it's Oregon after all), my arthritis wouldn't let me run around nude. I would be in too much discomfort from the cold air and besides, we have a dress code at work..we are required to be fully clothed at all times! |
| quackabook | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:09pm That would be cruel and unusual treatment of my fellow citizen. |
| Biggles | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:10pm No. |
| romkey | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:12pm Probably not. |
| Willow | posted 10-Nov-2004 7:22pm I have before, so sure. :-Þ |
| RedsPajamas | posted 10-Nov-2004 10:01pm Of course, clothes are so restrictive! |
| Galomorro | posted 10-Nov-2004 11:45pm No. I actually think clothes tend to make people look better. I do not think my own bod would be at its best totally nood. But it is fine with me if others might wish to do so. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 11-Nov-2004 1:18am sounds like a typical tazwert survey |
| BionicLips | posted 11-Nov-2004 3:41am I would but only in a setting where others are nude. I'm not going to go shopping in a mall nude. |
| icurok | posted 11-Nov-2004 5:14am It depends. I'd certainly opt to go naked at a beach. I've done this before and would have no qualms about doing it again. But I can't see the point in being naked whilst shopping in the high street. Where would I keep my spare change? |
| Wicksy | posted 11-Nov-2004 5:53am Doubt it |
| Danger | posted 11-Nov-2004 9:36am Yes, but not all the time... naked is only appropriate sometimes! |
| down_by_the_bay | posted 11-Nov-2004 4:34pm No thanks! |
| juliw | posted 11-Nov-2004 6:02pm I doubt it. I'm fat! |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 11-Nov-2004 6:28pm He does have a tendency from time to time not to be over attentive on his surveys in qual and therefore doesn't make necessary changes, but I think he's definitely improving. However, this isn't one of his surveys. |
| Zang | (reply to southernyankee) posted 11-Nov-2004 6:29pm I've only ever been arrested twice. Both times were in the 1970s. Neither resulted in formal charges or a conviction. I'm actually pretty well behaved. I don't need laws to do that. |
| gambler | posted 11-Nov-2004 7:03pm No |
| southernyankee | (reply to Zang) posted 11-Nov-2004 9:45pm so, what you do
it was the ending of the hippie days I suppose. a lot of ppl got arrested in that period |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 11-Nov-2004 10:38pm How can you be so sure? |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 11-Nov-2004 10:44pm I can't, but I don't get the impression that he's the type to have dual accounts. A lot of newbies ignore nitpicks and needs work votes because they are new to qualification and don't realize that they shouldn't ignore suggestions to make their surveys better. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to darkshadowsseeker) posted 12-Nov-2004 6:49am He has made enough surveys to not be considered new. Also newbies are not always new |
| autumnlight | posted 12-Nov-2004 6:50am NO! I've had nightmares about that! |
| justjulie | (reply to Danger) posted 12-Nov-2004 7:26am somehow i'm seeing an episode of seinfeld in my brain...there's good naked and bad naked.
coughing+naked= bad naked hair brushing+naked= good naked |
| Zang | (reply to southernyankee) posted 12-Nov-2004 10:28am I was just a teenager. I don't know that it had much to do with "hippie days". One arrest was for possession of three joints the other was for curfew violation. I'm pretty sure I've told both stories here before. Here they are:

| southernyankee | (reply to Zang) posted 12-Nov-2004 1:40pm see, I figured that someone who has never been arrested as an adult and only twice in his entire lifetime would probabbly be very apprehensive about getting arrested again (as opposed to someone who been cuffed a number of times). I am surprised you wouldnt be aprehensive about it at all, I know I would. |
| southernyankee | (reply to justjulie) posted 12-Nov-2004 1:42pm what about
naked + being searched for drugs or weapons. would that be a bad naked? |
| Zang | (reply to southernyankee) posted 12-Nov-2004 3:19pm You live in a nation with a much much higher rate of incarceration. It probably makes sense that you are more aware of such things.
I have to have a criminal record check to do the work I do. I need a new one every time I change jobs. I suppose I should be more concerned. I'm pretty sure that walking around nude isn't a major crime around here anyway. I'd venture to say that if I walked out the door nude right now and ran into a cop, he'd probably tell me to go home and put some clothes on. I'd only get arrested if I didn't acquiesce. |
| Sapphire17 | posted 12-Nov-2004 3:21pm Why would I subject everybody to seeing such a horrifying sight as me? Tis would be un-ethical! |
| Zang | (reply to southernyankee) posted 12-Nov-2004 3:29pm Oh, I just looked it up. In the US, the incarceration rate is 702 inmates per 100,000 population. In Canada the number would only be 116. |
| southernyankee | (reply to Zang) posted 12-Nov-2004 3:53pm damn!
I actually thought that the discrepency was much higher than that. |
| LuridHope | posted 12-Nov-2004 4:20pm I am very comfortable with my body... but on a cold day, i don't think so, #1 reason WARMTH
#2 reason SHRINKAGE!!! LOLOL |
| darkshadowsseeker | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 12-Nov-2004 9:17pm That's true, but I also believe in the concept of innocent until proven guilty. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 13-Nov-2004 10:36am Probably not, unless it was just a nude beach or something. |
| justjulie | (reply to southernyankee) posted 14-Nov-2004 6:42am somehow i think that would qualify as being "bad" naked...but that's just an opinion though |
| southernyankee | (reply to justjulie) posted 14-Nov-2004 5:19pm |
| JessicaWoman99 | posted 14-Nov-2004 8:34pm Living here in Colorado you would freeze to death, plus they would not allow it at work. |
| sweet16bebe | posted 15-Nov-2004 12:12am hell yeah when its hot its HOT .. in texas anyways |
| Zang | (reply to southernyankee) posted 17-Nov-2004 8:16pm I forget what year those figures were for. It very well may have increased since then. |
| zorgblar | posted 19-Oct-2005 1:06am I wouldn't go all the way naked for two reasons:
1.Im so shy i could only strip down to my underwear. 2.It's so cold were i live i would shrink up!LOL |
| daveb1964 | posted 24-Nov-2005 11:14pm nobody wants to see me naked |
| KickingCrow | posted 1-Dec-2005 12:22pm I have to qualify that "yes" with -- usually it's too cold (Oregon, you know). But being naked in public is no problem at all for me (I work as a nude figure model). Undressed feels like the most natural thing in the world. |
| Lee55555 | posted 26-Jan-2006 10:14am Can't wait for it to be legal! The only thing stopping me is the fear of being arrested! |

um, and the answer is...only if everybody had before me, and i was raised to do so.
half the people i knew growing up (hippies) walked around naked , but i don't.
however if clothes were not the common thing, who knows.
