| Biggles | posted 24-Oct-2004 11:09am I don't think they sound very nice. |
| Enheduanna | posted 24-Oct-2004 12:00pm I think I'm tired of surveys about waterbeds. And I answered this in the last waterbed survey. |
| cerealkiller | posted 24-Oct-2004 1:11pm Uncomfy for sure. I like a hard mattress, hate sloshing around on water, lack of lateral support, having to heat the water, leaks, etc. Never again will have one. I have been known to sleep just fine right on the floor. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 24-Oct-2004 1:37pm Since I've only slept once, on a very early and cruder model of waterbed, I am undecided. I don't know if the newer models are more comfortable or not. |
| ihatespiders | posted 24-Oct-2004 1:40pm My sister has a new one, and it sleeps a lot better than the older ones. |
| ASB | posted 24-Oct-2004 2:06pm depends on the bed. Bad survey creator |
| Hans | posted 24-Oct-2004 2:42pm Not healthy! |
| gambler | posted 24-Oct-2004 6:07pm Never slept on one |
| thresholdking | posted 24-Oct-2004 8:50pm I like waterbeds, real comfy just wanted a change. |
| romkey | posted 24-Oct-2004 9:59pm Depends on the waterbed and the situation. |
| Zang | posted 25-Oct-2004 1:27am I don't care for them. I prefer an ordinary mattress. |
| icurok | posted 25-Oct-2004 6:59am I don't think about sleeping on waterbeds. |
| moonstone | posted 25-Oct-2004 1:08pm how many more waterbed surveys do we really need? |
| paulyw | (reply to moonstone) posted 25-Oct-2004 1:24pm This the last one I promise! |
| leahdoll | posted 25-Oct-2004 4:49pm Not the most comfortable thing. Sex in a waterbed isn't all it's cracked up to be. When you're on the botton your back scrapes against the wood of the frame. EEK! |
| caviartaste | posted 25-Oct-2004 5:56pm fairly comfy at the time...but may cause some back pain later.... |
| caviartaste | (reply to leahdoll) posted 25-Oct-2004 6:00pm not if it's as full as it's supposed to be! |
| moonstone | (reply to paulyw) posted 25-Oct-2004 6:57pm ok, ok... |
| Danger | posted 25-Oct-2004 7:15pm I think they're comfy--nice and warm. |
| Danger | (reply to paulyw) posted 25-Oct-2004 7:19pm Are you trying to figure out if you want to buy a waterbed or something? |
| paulyw | (reply to Danger) posted 25-Oct-2004 8:18pm No I have a queen size bed for 14 years. The reason why I am creating these surveys is because do hardly see waterbeds no more. A lot of people I know had one in the past put they got rid of it due to back problems etc. I love my waterbed, and it is very comfortable to sleep on. (For me anyway) I have the heater set at 100'F year round, and I sleep so well on it. |
| Danger | (reply to paulyw) posted 25-Oct-2004 9:31pm Oh okay--I was just wondering about the surveys. And I totally agree on the comfyness of waterbeds (at least the one in my house)! |
| paulyw | (reply to Danger) posted 25-Oct-2004 9:53pm Mine is comfy like I said, I got mine second hand at a private sale. And queen sized waterbeds today cost a lot. A former co-worker of mine bought a king sized bed and payed over $1500 for it at American TV. This bed had drawers on the sides a big headboard with lights and mirrors. You name it! |
| Danger | (reply to paulyw) posted 26-Oct-2004 8:58am wow... |
| killme1042 | posted 26-Oct-2004 9:55am it was so nice. It was like sleeping on the water but in a bed. Ha i bet thats why they call it a water bed! |
| MssAmericat | posted 26-Oct-2004 5:37pm I love waterbeds |
| leahdoll | (reply to caviartaste) posted 26-Oct-2004 6:38pm I gues my ex was just too lazy to fill and maintain it properly! |
| Irene007 | posted 26-Oct-2004 10:06pm Uncomfy but fun. |
| eloradanan | posted 28-May-2006 6:47pm I've never slept on one, but I've heard they are pretty comfortable. |
| Cleo | posted 12-May-2008 12:39am Now that I'm 55 the dam thing is SO uncomfortable!! This waterbed is 22 years old. |
