| steve | posted 30-Jan-1998 7:54pm Depends on the mass: if it's under 50 kilos, one or a few dogs would probably be easier to fight off than a swarm of rats. More than that, and it's a swarm either way, so I'll take the rats, which would be easier to stomp. |
| Twanger | posted 30-Jan-1998 10:56pm Dogs, definatly! have you ever seen "El Norte?" *shiver* *cringe*. Rat assaults are damn scarry. |
| bill | posted 31-Jan-1998 8:03am I think I could survive the rats little mouths more easily. Also, emotionally it would bother me more to be attacked by doggies. |
| weth | posted 31-Jan-1998 11:16am I'd pick Dogs, and hope for collies. |
| Jaime | posted 31-Jan-1998 12:08pm Dogs can done the work fast... |
| djo23 | posted 1-Feb-1998 7:39am about 1 ng will do nicely thankyou |
| jefff | posted 1-Feb-1998 1:36pm Dogs are easier to overcome and keep an eye on. 3 dogs I could beat easy. 30 rats would eventually get wear me down. |
| Artemis | posted 1-Feb-1998 7:57pm Depending in what kind of dogs. If they're the cute little ones that look like rats then... |
| Atzilut | posted 1-Feb-1998 10:14pm *shudder* |
| julie | posted 1-Feb-1998 11:17pm I absolutely hate with a passion rats, but people dogs could do so much more damage. Look at the teeth. |
| fiore | posted 2-Feb-1998 9:09am Rats' necks are easier to break. |
| Timmi | posted 2-Feb-1998 3:49pm In all but the most extreme cases a mass of dogs represents fewer individuals than an equal mass of rats. I take the option that presents me with the fewest sets of teeth to defend against. |
| Pomeranian | posted 2-Feb-1998 6:46pm You would die faster by dogs...I would not want to live with the memory of either experience |
| Jimmy | posted 2-Feb-1998 7:52pm Dogs would be easier to hit back. Rats' diseases are closer to human diseases. This is a gross question. I think am going to kill myself just to prevent this from ever happening to me. You are sick. |
| Dahlia | posted 9-Feb-1998 5:08am Yuck.. why such a question.. But I think I would prefer rats..cause I could probably try and run away. And I can step on as many as I can and (this may be gross) but I would break their necks and kill them. |
| gilly | posted 10-Feb-1998 1:31pm I think it'd be easier to deal with one dog than 30 rats. |
| missy | posted 10-Feb-1998 4:41pm geez!! this is a hard one to answer!!! i just happen to like mice so i think rats would be better |
| KenShingo | posted 17-Feb-1998 6:16pm fast death for me... |
| elijahblue | posted 17-Feb-1998 8:07pm I would rather wake up and find it was a bad dream. |
| Gamera | posted 3-Mar-1998 2:11am I think I could whup a ten pound dog's little furry ass, but I'd be lost against 20 8oz rats simultaniously attacking me. And while a fifty pound dog might get a limb off me before I could even bite it back, fifty giant 1lb rats would probably mutilate me beyond recognition. If I won the fight easy, I'd rather sit back and enjoy a nice, plump, roasted dog-thigh, than try to gnaw the meat off the little gamey critters. |
| joe | posted 23-Mar-1998 12:28am dogs would be quicker. weth, this question is great |
| lelle | posted 13-May-1998 1:51am Now that would depend on the intent of the animal. :) I like both dogs and rats, but I think one 50kg dog is easier to deal with than 25 2kg rats. |
| plots | posted 14-May-1998 12:20pm SSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!! Dogs |
| jjg | posted 17-May-1998 3:26pm An equal mass of dogs at any rate has fewer mouths and less to kill before you can be free. |
| reality | posted 3-Jul-1998 2:48pm larger jaws.. It would be a quicker death.. |
| BenevolentMagus | posted 5-Jul-1998 12:36pm At first, I decided upon the rats, but now it is dogs. I would rather be attacked by an equal mass of chihuahuas. |
| daver | posted 5-Jul-1998 10:29pm Rats. Smaller teeth, and easier to kill/disable. My answer would be dogs if the mass was equal to one dog (or less). **BenevolentMagus: And this would be different from rats how? |
| FacelessShadow | posted 21-Jul-1998 4:09pm if it goes by mass there is less teeth with a dog because there are less of them. May I ask where this odd question orginates from? |
| dpolicar | posted 11-Aug-1998 4:06pm Whichever involves the fewest individuals; boy do I hope that's dogs (if not, I'd rather be attacked by either than drink the water). |
| seven | posted 17-Aug-1998 9:22am Think of the number of teeth |
| eloradanan | posted 28-May-2006 8:35pm Neither. |
| krazykatlady | posted 25-May-2007 3:07am If it was a deadly attack, I'll go for dogs. I'd probably die faster. |
