| gambler | posted 10-Oct-2004 3:33pm Smoked, I sell Cuban cigars in my store , so if I want one I just take one I prefer a Romeo and Juliet No.1 or 2 or a Montecristo tubo or Number 2 |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 10-Oct-2004 4:28pm Neither...I don't smoke nor do I purchase tobacco products or anything that can be smoked such as pot. |
| juliw | posted 10-Oct-2004 5:11pm Neither. I did ONCE purchase those cherry-flavored cigars just for fun, and some rum-flavored ones (I think) as a gift for a friend. |
| BerrieGrrl | posted 10-Oct-2004 10:55pm neither. i've smoked a cigar before, but no cubans. |
| EyesOfCharisma | posted 10-Oct-2004 11:39pm um I think so, but just used the outsides of it to roll something else in it. |
| they | posted 11-Oct-2004 12:26am Nope. |
| thevelvetcure | (reply to gambler) posted 11-Oct-2004 1:02am Are they all that they're cracked up to be? Or is it mostly because of the trade embargo that makes them so special in the US? |
| icurok | posted 11-Oct-2004 6:00am Neither. I don't smoke cigars, but if I've bought some for someone else, they certainly wouldn't have been Cuban. |
| bill | posted 11-Oct-2004 7:23am I don't think so |
| gambler | (reply to thevelvetcure) posted 11-Oct-2004 7:59am good question............... Cuban cigars are consistently rated top, I do like the salty finish you get when i occasionally smoke them and you can ALWAYS tell a Cuban from any other.
I guess it is like Jamaica with its coffee, Cuba just has the best envoirnment for it e.g perfect rainfall, the soil, sun etc |
| Maarten | posted 11-Oct-2004 9:28am Yes, no trade embargo against Cuba here. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 11-Oct-2004 4:45pm I was given one 20 years ago. Didn't care for it. The only time I've enjoyed a cigar was smoking Backwoods brand. The look like rough sticks and are sweet and fruity. |
| Zang | posted 11-Oct-2004 6:25pm I don't know for sure. I'm not a big fan of cigars, but I have smoked a few over the years. I've never specifically gone looking for a Cuban cigar. I don't recall anyone ever giving me a cigar and telling me it was Cuban. Actually, the nation of origin has never come up as far as I recall... |
| southernyankee | posted 11-Oct-2004 8:13pm neither. I never got into that whole smoking thing. |
| moonstone | posted 11-Oct-2004 10:50pm no, i don't like cigars. i can't even stand being in a cigar store for very long..the smell gets to me. |
| Enheduanna | posted 12-Oct-2004 12:59pm Purchased and smoked. They beat the pants off Dominicans. |
| Enheduanna | (reply to thevelvetcure) posted 12-Oct-2004 1:00pm They really are better. |
| kaleb777 | posted 12-Oct-2004 3:11pm Both. Cubans are legal in Australia. |
| blondie20 | posted 6-Mar-2007 3:53am Neither. |
