| darkshadowsseeker | posted 6-Oct-2004 12:37am Bitten by a shark. I would probably die faster than by multiple bee stings. |
| icurok | posted 6-Oct-2004 6:37am It's like magazineboy never left |
| justjulie | posted 6-Oct-2004 6:45am i guess, i suppose, if i really had to pick one of these ways to go....may i forever be some shark's lunch |
| jettles | posted 6-Oct-2004 7:58am land shark! |
| bill | posted 6-Oct-2004 8:00am bees... it sounds bad, but I heard someone describe a massive bee attack and she said she didn't really feel it after a short while. She was either in shock or the venom was affecting her. It actually cured her arthritis too. |
| gambler | posted 6-Oct-2004 8:09am ?..this passed without the bitten being corrected....... I'm surprised |
| FordGuy | posted 6-Oct-2004 8:56am BITTEN.
Not bit. BITTEN. |
| BerrieGrrl | posted 6-Oct-2004 9:42am see, i'm allergic to bees, so even getting stung by a single bee without my shot would kill me. so i'm picking bees, cuz that would be quick for me. |
| ASexyBabe | posted 6-Oct-2004 10:21am depends too much to say. I would really need more information |
| FordGuy | (reply to BerrieGrrl) posted 6-Oct-2004 10:30am Me too! Allergic that is. |
| thevelvetcure | posted 6-Oct-2004 11:05am Assuming it's as the question is asked a shark bite. Though this is highly improbably to die from a single bite. |
| thevelvetcure | (reply to BerrieGrrl) posted 6-Oct-2004 11:07am How about Ants and Wasps and any other insect with a stinger? My mom has 20 minutes to get to the hospital |
| EyesOfCharisma | posted 6-Oct-2004 11:11am Shark bite seem's to be the quickest way to go. |
| Jody | posted 6-Oct-2004 11:20am Shark bite sounds faster. I'd probably prefer that. |
| veronica_h | posted 6-Oct-2004 12:02pm odd question! |
| Biggles | posted 6-Oct-2004 12:05pm I think the shark bite would probably be quicker due to the loss of blood. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to thevelvetcure) posted 6-Oct-2004 12:46pm I live about 2 minutes from a hospital I know that putting wet tobacco on a sting will alleviate the pain, swelling and itching. Have you ever heard anything about if this method actually pulls the poison from the body? |
| thevelvetcure | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 6-Oct-2004 12:48pm I've heard something to that effect...I've also heard of such home remedies but with bacon instead yech! I'm sure it's out there on the web somewhere. |
| pandora | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 6-Oct-2004 2:24pm I would be seriously careful about doing anything with wet tobacco-if left on too long, a person could get incredibly ill. Nicotine is lethal in very tiny doses unless it's being smoked. Weird. |
| Updown | posted 6-Oct-2004 3:56pm Even though I am deathly afraid of sharks it would probably be over a lot quicker. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to pandora) posted 6-Oct-2004 3:59pm All I know is it is a miraculous bee sting cure. It does not take long to get the effects. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to thevelvetcure) posted 6-Oct-2004 5:28pm It might give you a few more minutes to get to the hospital in an emergency. |
| moonstone | posted 6-Oct-2004 7:10pm |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 6-Oct-2004 7:15pm I think I'd rather get stung to death. |
| MacGregor | posted 6-Oct-2004 7:47pm AHH!! Where is the "other" option?! Ugh. I guess the bees because after a bit I don't think I would feel it anymore, but the shark would be ripping and such. Also, I don't like the thought of being eaten by something. Ugh!! |
| autumnlight | posted 6-Oct-2004 7:57pm Well I'm allergic to bees, so I would be dead pretty soon after the first bite, so I'll go for that one. |
| Zang | posted 6-Oct-2004 8:17pm I really don't see the point in this sort of inquiry. |
| thevelvetcure | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 6-Oct-2004 9:43pm *shrugs* |
| iamdonte | posted 6-Oct-2004 10:19pm shark....less pain than bees. But it would only take one bee sting to kill me. |
| BerrieGrrl | (reply to FordGuy) posted 6-Oct-2004 11:03pm to you carry an epi-pen? i've carried one for almost 16 years now and i've only used it twice. |
| BerrieGrrl | (reply to thevelvetcure) posted 6-Oct-2004 11:05pm i'm not allergic to ants...wasps i'm not sure, but i think i might be considering the extreme reaction i had to a honey bee. does your mom carry an epi-pen with her? |
| BerrieGrrl | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 6-Oct-2004 11:06pm i've heard that a paste made with just salt and water has the same effect (as far as reducing swelling, etc), but i've never tried it. |
| Irene007 | posted 6-Oct-2004 11:07pm Hard, hard choice... I pick bees.
I have a couple of phobias; one is stinging insects and the other is water...(deep water) |
| Irene007 | (reply to icurok) posted 6-Oct-2004 11:07pm > It's like magazineboy never left Who's magazineboy? |
| mitachoo | posted 7-Oct-2004 12:20am At least the pain of a shark bite is "localized" |
| icurok | (reply to Irene007) posted 7-Oct-2004 1:42am http://surveycentral.org/user/magazineboy.html
A trollish character from a few years ago. Got a kick out of making utterly nonsensical surveys. |
| thevelvetcure | (reply to BerrieGrrl) posted 7-Oct-2004 2:03am no...she *should* I think the only one that she has is about 2 yrs old so it's probably out of date |
| Phoebe | posted 7-Oct-2004 2:40am Sharks seem less murderous.
That would make a great name for a band. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 7-Oct-2004 5:49am I picked shark. |
| Irene007 | (reply to icurok) posted 7-Oct-2004 8:21am Alright... Looks like I missed a couple of funny surveys! I guess it must have been at a time (like this one) when I wasn't around as much. I don't remember him at all. |
| caviartaste | posted 7-Oct-2004 8:59am shark bite - praying the shock would kick in fast.. |
| Wicksy | posted 7-Oct-2004 9:49am shark of course.
Would be great fun!! |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to BerrieGrrl) posted 7-Oct-2004 11:09am I got stung by a bee on my wedding day and someone said to put wet tobacco on it. I did and it took the sting out immediately. After an hour you could not even tell I had been stung. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to Irene007) posted 7-Oct-2004 11:10am I don't know how you could have forgotten him!!! He was a riot. |
| Irene007 | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 7-Oct-2004 1:10pm Like I said, it must have been in that period where I was often absent - I remember staying away when the whole Phoebe thing erupted. 'Member that? |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to Irene007) posted 7-Oct-2004 1:57pm He was after that if I remember right. |
| Irene007 | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 7-Oct-2004 7:36pm I vaguely remember the name... but I never really paid attention. I guess he wasn't around long enough.
Did you see my post in Forum to you? |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to Irene007) posted 7-Oct-2004 9:10pm |
| Irene007 | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 8-Oct-2004 12:13am She didn't really get a warm welcome, did she? Somehow, I'm not surprised... |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to Irene007) posted 8-Oct-2004 12:35am *stares in disbelief* |
| they | posted 8-Oct-2004 3:06am None. |
| FordGuy | (reply to BerrieGrrl) posted 11-Oct-2004 12:02pm Yep, have one in all my trucks. Never too far away from my trucks!
|
| eloradanan | posted 3-Jun-2006 2:36am I'd rather not have either experience. |
