| Jody | posted 26-Mar-1999 11:54am I seldom use it, but I'm glad I studied it. I know that learning any foreign language as a child, while the brain is still so adaptable and able to learn and integrate new things, can help when learning a foreign language later in life. |
| hunter | posted 26-Mar-1999 12:03pm I try to speak Spanish with Jason fairly frequently, and it comes up about once a week out & about. |

| steve | posted 26-Mar-1999 4:26pm I never actually use my foreign language studies to communicate, but I do try to read signs in Spanish just for fun, and studying Latin has improved my vocabulary and given me insights into the structure of English word families. |
| Pomeranian | posted 26-Mar-1999 5:46pm Sometimes, a friend might ask me to translate a phrase from Latin, but that is about it. |

| kadai | posted 26-Mar-1999 5:59pm Spanish - I'm terrible at it, but, I use it every day at work, buying books, speaking to homesick au pairs, helping kids with homework. Quien lo pensaria? (who'd a thunk it) |
