I seldom use it, but I'm glad I studied it. I know that learning any foreign language as a child, while the brain is still so adaptable and able to learn and integrate new things, can help when learning a foreign language later in life.

I never actually use my foreign language studies to communicate, but I do try to read signs in Spanish just for fun, and studying Latin has improved my vocabulary and given me insights into the structure of English word families.

Sometimes, a friend might ask me to translate a phrase from Latin, but that is about it.

I forgot it when I tried to learn a third language.

Spanish - I'm terrible at it, but, I use it every day at work, buying books, speaking to homesick au pairs, helping kids with homework. Quien lo pensaria? (who'd a thunk it)

Very Seldom.. If someone says to me, "How would I say this in German?".. then I try to remember...

Spanish I use occasionally, but not much, really. German, very rarely, though it's sometimes handy.

I have studied several languages and use little bits of them frequently (mostly just for fun), but very rarely speak more than a sentence or two of any of them.
