The best driving songs!

I will likely be going on an extended road trip in the U.S. and Mexico beginning in late December, and I'll need lots of tunes. I'd love to hear your suggestions for songs that should make it into the mix! I'm looking to build an eclectic collection, so suggestions from all genres are welcome.

Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac is THE driving song. Espeically the really cool part just before the last chorus. Bigity-bam, that's some great driving music.

Pink Floyd's, "Wish You Where Here" The entire album, as long as you're not driving at night, or tired. Anything Led Zeppelin, Cream....ok, I guess in summary, I'm saying classic rock, especially if you know the songs, so that you can sing along to them * wink *

Let's see, the account page says I'm 29. I've always liked older music and like songs even way older than the 80's. I have never followed the crowd with listening to whatever is 'now'.

I like songs by the Smiths. My favourites are: What She Said, Queen Is Dead, Stop Me if You Heard this One Before, and There Is a Light that Never Goes Out.

Morrissey is also very spiffy. Last of International Playboys, Picadilly Palare, Irish Blood English Heart, and Degengham Dave.

Other driving songs I like are Beautiful World by Coldplay, I Do by Anastacia, Imitation of Life by REM, Walking in Memphis by Cher, anything by Era, Every You and Every Me by Placebo, and Queen of the Damne by Triestesse de la Luna.

Depeche Mode
Duran Duran
ABC
Human League
Ultravox
