| Jody | posted 19-Mar-1999 8:28am You forgot a response option. How about......get skin cancer. |
| North79 | posted 19-Mar-1999 9:25am Artificial tanning is silly! :) |
| jjg | posted 19-Mar-1999 10:41am I get that natural French tan, arms and neck and only visible when I take off my t-shirt. |
| jettles | posted 19-Mar-1999 2:38pm i don't use one but if i did i would tan nude |
| they | posted 20-Mar-1999 9:40am Nude.. with lotsa lotion or body oil.. I like to be DARK... I figure it's in my genes to get cancer anyway. |
| they | posted 20-Mar-1999 9:43am North79, you should try it. It's the most relaxing thing. You know what it feels like when you walk outside to the sun shining on your face? Tanning feels 100% better than just the sun. I've actually known people with anxiety and depression problems that were recommended to go by their therapists. |
| North79 | posted 20-Mar-1999 4:52pm they..nahhh! It costs money for one..and your skin gets leathery and wrinkled if you do it too much. I get enough of a tan in the summer from being outside. Maybe if I get so stressed and depressed and I need an upper I'll try it ;) |
| supplicant | posted 21-Mar-1999 7:39pm they: yeah I know how the sun feels on your face, it feels bloody awful and I want to retreat under shelter :) I hate the sun. |
| Nyssa | posted 22-Mar-1999 12:50pm I have too many friends with skin cancer, I actively avoid the sun. Also, my grandparents' skin was really leathery because they worked outside. I hope to avoid their fate. |
| dpolicar | posted 22-Mar-1999 4:40pm I tan, but I wouldn't use a tanning bed. When I sunbathe (which is rare) I generally wear shorts (or a bathing suit if I'm at the beach or somesuch). If I had a convenient place to do so (private and comfortable), I'd sunbathe nude. |
| mandy | posted 6-Apr-1999 7:41pm I am a pale ex sun worshipper....I used to tan all the time...I gave it up a couple of years ago...I wear sunscreen everyday even when it is overcast.....now my skin is ivory smooth...soft...supple...unwrinkled and perfect.... |
| jaff | posted 12-Apr-1999 4:40am 'm an ex sun worshipper...i avoid the sun now like it's poison and have never been in a tanning bed... don't ever plan to... don't fancy the idea of bein' in an overlarge microwave... 'm pale 'n proud... |
| eris | posted 22-Apr-1999 10:24pm Tanning is bad for you. But if I were to use a tanning bed (hypothetically) I would certainly tan nude. |
| eloradanan | posted 10-Jun-2006 12:16am I don't try to tan using any method. It's not healthy for your skin & dries your skin out too. When you get older you're skin will look all nasty & leathery. You can end up getting skin cancer from using a tanning bed just as you can from the sun. |
| krazykatlady | posted 25-May-2007 3:53am No tanning since I don't want to risk getting skin cancer. |
