Do you wear eyeglasses?

yes, i'm terribly nearsighted. i would like to get lasik surgery, but i've heard that if it doesn't completely work you can't wear contacts, and i love wearing contacts too much to risk giving that up.

Yes, I'm severely nearsighted (myopia), plus I have myopic degeneration in my left eye to the point that most of my vision is gone in that eye. My right eye does most of the work.

I wear disposable contact lenses that I change every six months. I was diagnosed with nearsightedness back in 1979, when I was a preteen. I wore eyeglasses up until 1986 when I was fresh out of high school, and switched to contacts. I have worn contacts since.

latent hyperopia, basically I can use cheapo +1.25 reading glasses and I'm all set.

Yes, because i'm nearsighted. I also have been known to wear contacts, although they tend to dry my eyes to a very uncomfortable point.

I am very slightly nearsighted, after having PRK done last summer to correct my vision. I use glasses sometimes at night or to watch a movie or TV... most of the time I don't need or wear glasses.

I have glasses, but I rarely wear them. One eye is farsighted, one eye is nearsighted. Unless I'm doing something fairly detailed, I usually don't wear them, because my eyes compensate for each other. When I used to drive, I wore them because I can judge distance better with them (plus see better). Some states in which I have lived have required me to wear glasses when driving, others don't.

I wear contacts and I have accomative strabismus. This means when I take my contacts out I am cross eyed. Kind of funny because its a trade off. I can either focus and see clearly but be cross eyed and have double vision, or I can not focus, everything be blury, but my eyes be straight. Hows that for a poll question...lol.

Yes. I've worn glasses since I was about 7 or 8 because of myopia (short-sightedness). The only reason I'm not wearing them in my profile photo is a combination of vanity and the fact that it's virtually impossible to take a picture with my webcam without masses of glare.
