| cerealkiller | posted 25-Jun-2004 4:41pm Depends, some things aren't 'free', like free stuff just used to try to sell you something else. |
| justjulie | posted 25-Jun-2004 4:42pm duh! of course, free stuff is good |
| bombill | posted 25-Jun-2004 5:11pm I could take it or leave it. I'm thinking of promotional giveaway items here. A lot of free stuff is crap, though I've got a few things I occasionally use that I got for free. I hate wearing giveaway T-shirts. Whenever anyone is giving those away I think "Yay! A new dust rag!"

| BerrieGrrl | posted 25-Jun-2004 5:42pm sure, why not? |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 25-Jun-2004 6:10pm I love the free admission to some of the museums and stuff like that. |
| pandora | posted 25-Jun-2004 6:12pm Depends on the stuff. |
| Enheduanna | posted 25-Jun-2004 6:14pm It depends on the stuff, but typically I love it! |
| kirst | posted 25-Jun-2004 7:34pm Depends on what it is...I don't like stuff just because it is free, though. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 25-Jun-2004 7:42pm I like it depending on whether or not I have a use for it. What good is getting something for free if you don't have a use for it? |
| Galomorro | posted 25-Jun-2004 8:44pm Love it. I look for free stuff every day, anything from a penny on the street to bags of free clothes, etc. left out on the street because the owners want to get rid of it and hate to just toss it in the trash. I've had good luck with finding various freebies, including books people no longer want to keep and put out on the sidewalk or in the laundromat. I have done the same with unwantables myself. There's a thrift shop here that has a "free box" where they put oddities (usually not clothes though) they don't think will sell out for whoever passes by and looks in it. Next to "free" is a dollar-a-piece mostly parking lot sale that I and others attend the first Saturday of the month at a certain popular thrift shop here-this one's a hoot. |
| ASexyBabe | posted 25-Jun-2004 9:49pm I don't like it , I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! |
| ASexyBabe | posted 25-Jun-2004 10:04pm I love free stuff!!! Even if I don't need it I am sure I will know someone who will!!! Free stuff is fun to get and keep or give away!!! |
| bill | posted 25-Jun-2004 11:28pm I am bound by the social rule of reciprocity, thus nothing is truly free. |

| DUNDO | posted 26-Jun-2004 4:13am Who doesn't like free Stuff? |
| they | posted 26-Jun-2004 5:27am I LOVE free stuff!! It's so cool. I get massive quantities of products at my job.. even though I don't use much of it and I give most of it away, I have so much fun with it. It's half the reason I still work there. |
| moonstone | posted 26-Jun-2004 8:54am Hell yes!! Love it! |
| iamdonte | posted 26-Jun-2004 9:22am I love free stuff, especially if it is free stuff that I can use. |

| romkey | posted 27-Jun-2004 10:17am It depends on what it is. Whether it's free or not has little to do with whether I like it. |

| RICES5 | posted 29-Jun-2004 12:15am Nothing is free...there is always a cost...it just depends on what the cost is and is it worth it |
| judgescratch | posted 29-Jun-2004 1:23pm I usually don't like it, because it's usually junky crap which just takes up space which I don't really need. |
| iamdonte | (reply to bombill) posted 29-Jun-2004 5:45pm I love give-away t-shirts....I cut a v-neck in the collar of them and wear them around the house to clean, do yard work, paint, eat crawfish or anything else that I wouldn't want to ruin a t-shirt that I paid good money for. |
| iamdonte | (reply to ASexyBabe) posted 29-Jun-2004 5:48pm I signed up today for freecycle in my area. Can't wait to see what comes of it.
