| Wicksy | posted 8-Mar-1999 8:22am bill : It should be single answers. Can you change this ? Thanks |
| lizzie | posted 8-Mar-1999 9:06am If I had to pick one, pineapple. But I also love apples, bananas, and grapes. You forgot watermelon! |
| bill | posted 8-Mar-1999 10:04am Wicksy, too late. |
| Jody | posted 8-Mar-1999 10:18am watermelon and cherry and pomegranite |
| they | posted 8-Mar-1999 10:47am pears, pineapple, & tomato |
| drdt | posted 8-Mar-1999 11:55am I find it amusing that you pluralized "grape". "Bet you can't eat just one!" |
| milktree | posted 8-Mar-1999 12:24pm I answered this as if there was a huge tray of fruits, each the platonic ideal of that fruit, and I got to fill my plate. |

| grmbrand | posted 8-Mar-1999 5:09pm clementines: the world's most accessible tangerines |
| steve | posted 8-Mar-1999 5:11pm Apples, but strawberries are a close second. And what's satsuma? Is this romkey? |
| elijahblue | posted 8-Mar-1999 9:27pm you missed two of my faves, grapefruit and cantaloupe (or actually, any melon). Yes, what is satsuma anyway? |
| steve | posted 8-Mar-1999 9:31pm I looked it up in the online dictionary, since the spell-checker didn't see it, and it said: 1 : any of several cultivated mandarin trees that bear medium-sized largely seedless fruits with thin smooth skin 2 : the fruit of a satsuma This didn't help me very much; it's a tree with fruit, or the fruit of the tree. Does "mandarin tree" mean mandarin orange? Is a satsuma different from a mandarin orange? Is it a British vs. American thing? |
| lelle | posted 8-Mar-1999 11:40pm I like most fruit. A couple of my favourites are grapefruit, watermelon, papaya+lime (gotta be the combination), guava. |
| romkey | posted 9-Mar-1999 12:06am I actually don't know what a satsuma is either |
| Wicksy | posted 9-Mar-1999 4:08am I am from England and a satsuma is basically a small orange so yes, like a clementine |
| Mattias | posted 9-Mar-1999 4:23am A search on satsuma got me this: "The fruit is juicy and very sweet, low in acid, and almost seedless, with an average of only 1.5 seeds per orange" The site also stated that it's sometimes referred to as "zipper-skin citrus", because it have a very easy removable skin. All this is just as I recall them, they are quite frequent in stores in Sweden around Christmas time. |
| Resy | posted 9-Mar-1999 9:10am tie - banana, strawberry, orange, apple ... depends on how I feel and what my body tells me to eat... |
| romkey | posted 9-Mar-1999 12:42pm I wonder why durian fruit wasn't in the survey? :) |

| lion | posted 13-Apr-1999 7:34pm Huckleberries are nice too. |
| eris | posted 28-Apr-1999 8:34pm I like all the ones I've tried. Some have more tendency to be cloying. Blackberries are probably consistently best, with raspberries a very close second. |
| Wicksy | posted 7-Jul-1999 9:02am strawberries |
| yorricks | posted 4-Oct-1999 7:29pm I get cravings. Plus it depends on what is good at the time. If oranges are just the right combination of tangy, sweet and juicy they are my favorite. |
| Wicksy | posted 6-Oct-1999 6:58am Strange bananas are top. I find them incredibly plain.. good for you, though |
| anonymous | posted 6-Oct-1999 6:13pm watermelon |

| daver | posted 1-Nov-1999 9:40pm Delicious monsters, monstera deliciosa, are my current favorite. Imagine a cross between a banana, a pineapple, and an armadillo, with a touch of mango thrown in for good measure. |
| natsim | posted 23-Nov-1999 3:37pm Mango, provided it's fresh and not too ripe |
