If I had to pick one, pineapple. But I also love apples, bananas, and grapes. You forgot watermelon!

I find it amusing that you pluralized "grape". "Bet you can't eat just one!"

I answered this as if there was a huge tray of fruits, each the platonic ideal of that fruit, and I got to fill my plate.

Apples, but strawberries are a close second. And what's satsuma? Is this romkey?

you missed two of my faves, grapefruit and cantaloupe (or actually, any melon). Yes, what is satsuma anyway?
steve

I looked it up in the online dictionary, since the spell-checker didn't see it, and it said:

1 : any of several cultivated mandarin trees that bear medium-sized largely seedless fruits with thin smooth skin
2 : the fruit of a satsuma

This didn't help me very much; it's a tree with fruit, or the fruit of the tree. Does "mandarin tree" mean mandarin orange? Is a satsuma different from a mandarin orange? Is it a British vs. American thing?

I like most fruit. A couple of my favourites are grapefruit, watermelon, papaya+lime (gotta be the combination), guava.

I am from England and a satsuma is basically a small orange so yes, like a clementine

A search on satsuma got me this:
"The fruit is juicy and very sweet, low in acid, and almost seedless, with an average of only 1.5 seeds per orange"
The site also stated that it's sometimes referred to as "zipper-skin citrus", because it have a very easy removable skin.
All this is just as I recall them, they are quite frequent in stores in Sweden around Christmas time.

I like all the ones I've tried. Some have more tendency to be cloying. Blackberries are probably consistently best, with raspberries a very close second.

I get cravings. Plus it depends on what is good at the time. If oranges are just the right combination of tangy, sweet and juicy they are my favorite.

Delicious monsters, monstera deliciosa, are my current favorite. Imagine a cross between a banana, a pineapple, and an armadillo, with a touch of mango thrown in for good measure.
