Amazed (although overused), I Just Called to Say I Loved You, and Truly, Madly, Deeply if you must have a pop hit. Seeing as "Follow Me" is about cheating, I don't really think it's appropriate, and I don't think "Picture" would rate up there, either. But it's your wedding, so do what you want.

At our wedding, we used the Theme from Linus and Lucy for our exit music. I think the music that the bride should go down the aisle to should be classical and have no lyrics, so they can focus on HER, not the tune.

I wonderful friend of mine sent me a CD, out of the blue, and I listen to it all the time! So many of those songs, one in particular, would make a heavenly wedding song, as I will marry again. But, like you...I am a fan of Darth Vader.

Yuck! I don't like any of these. I guess if I were forced to choose one, I'd go with Unchained Melody, but I'm against using songs with words for this. I'm a big fan of Pachelbel's Canon for the bridal procession.

I'm sure we're not the first people who have used it. My husband's ex-wife got married and her exit music was James Brown's "I Feel Good". I think the exit music is the perfect time to get silly, the tension relief in the room is tangible!

I have never heard of it being used. But do think it is so cute. That was great thinking on your part to use it basically as a tension reliever. That theme music from Peanuts would make me smile on any bad day. See * smile * I am smiling now.

"Grow Old With You" is cute. That was my sister-in-laws song. Her husband liked it because it was short - he hates to dance! I don't recommend "My Heart Will Go On" - bad connotations of dying partner from Titanic. "I Just Called..." is also weird. Our wedding song was "Sea of Love" by the Honeydrippers. We also liked "Can I Have This Dance" by Anne Murray. That was my parents' song, we we played it right after as the song for everyone to join in.

Don't think would pick any of these...I would prefer music without words too for the walk to the alter but I also believe it's "your" wedding so everyone should have it their way!
But if I ever get married again don't think will have any music...just me, the man who would be my husband, the guy marrying us...maybe on the beach, barefoot...let the ocean' waves, gulls... be our music...

I've been good!! We've been SO very very busy lately, too...We've had a good start to the summer...spent the past 2 weekends away, visiting family and a night in a hotel/resort/waterpark type thing...And, my aunt is visiting from England right now, here for my brother's high school graduation (circusboy86)...So lots going on...I'm kind of glad we're doing all this now in the beginning of the summer, I'm looking forward to trying to relax for the rest of the summer...just staying close to home, going to the beach, playing outside with Ethan, trying not to get eaten alive by these damn mutuant ninja mosquitoes! They're horrible!
