Does your primary vehicle have an automatic transmission or a manual transmission?

Regardless of how many vehicles your household has, I'm referring to the one you drive the most frequently.

Automatic! I used to have a manual (standard) - it wasn't bad but I missed cruise control!

Well, my primary GOOD vehicle is the car, which is automatic. But my truck which I put the most miles on is a 5-speed manual.

the one i drive the most is automatic. my old car was on the verge of being flintstone-powered...it was an '85 ford crown victoria, and for anyone who's seen the mtv show "pimp my ride", this car would've been perfect.

My car has a manual transmission, and I prefer it that way.

Manual - it's a tandem bicycle.
I've had about 20 cars, 6 of them Citroëns, all European, and they were all manual. My first driver, my mom's Datsun 260Z 2+2 was an auto though.

I don't know how to drive.

I would use my mind to power it anyway - its an untapped source.

It would be brilliant.

Ooh, like the Matrix or Dark Crystal. We could drive down the boulevards abducting pedestrians as fuel, and just ditch them again on the sidewalk when their brains were spent.

manual - I prefer manuals.
My wife's car has Step-Tronic transmission, which is sort of in between (you can put it in automatic, and she does 99% of the time), but you can also shift it like a manual sort of (up/down taps cause it to change gears). Also, I think it has a sport-mode that keeps you in low gears longer.

Her car is a BMW 330xi. ...but, I think the same transmission exists in VW and Audi cars (all 3 German car companies share a lot of technology, I believe).
