It looks at though someone has reading the "Weekly World News" waaaay too much! I would read all these articles for the amusement factor alone. |

I suppose it would depend in part on which paper I was reading (The Weekly World News by the looks of it) and how many of these kind of stories they had. I selected based on the idea that I was reading a fairly mainstream kind of paper and the rest of the stories were pretty mundane. I picked nine of the more sensational headlines. I think "Giant Rat Saves Boy" is the best one. I could totally picture seeing that in a paper! |

The new virus one made me sweat. I'd want to know how one floats to death or adopts a meteor, and who's DNA Charles has.
Most of these tell me everything in the caption, so I wouldn't read that many. |

I got kind of burned out as I read... and stopped clicking. If these articles were altogether, I might just opt to read none, but if they were spread out over different pulbications and days, I might get suckered into reading more of them. |

This is an interesting survey... I wonder what your motives were in this... I found I skipped stuff that seemed "typical" like "Man plummets to death." ... I'm feeling jaded now. |

Assuming they were in a real paper (or rather, in its online edition) and not a tabloid, I'd probably read a bunch of them. |

Computer virus...Death row organ harvesting...Man plummetting...Man floating...roman coin.....US Gvt returning land
Keep in mind I'm assuming these are all in reliable papers that they are being published in, not toilet reading...Star, Sun, Moon, Enquirer, etc etc |
