Do you like apple strudels?

It depends on whether it's homemade or store bought. I've yet to find a store bought apple strudel that I've liked. The pastry of the store bought varieties I've tried seems to leave a greasy mouth-feel, especially on the roof of the mouth. I suspect that vegetable shortening is being used instead of butter, which doesn't give a greasy mouth-feel.

It's been years since I had one, but a combination of good quality pastry and apples sounds good to me - especially served with cream or ice-cream.

Apple Strudels are my favorite type of pastries. They are so good. I don't necessarily like apples more than any other fruit, I just love apple strudels! Yum-Yum!

Oh, yes! I don't have a clue of how to make strudel. I'm only mini-talented in the baking department. Its a lucky thing for me, too. Otherwise, I'd be getting my stomach stapled soon.I try not to over-eat and I usually don't, but its the exercise that is keeping "luscious". No? How about bountifully endowed? Oh sh** I'm fat, okay?
