| judgescratch | posted 20-Apr-2004 6:05pm Nope. |
| mandy | posted 20-Apr-2004 7:34pm I don't think so |
| mandy | (reply to Pomeranian) posted 20-Apr-2004 7:36pm If you bought a Ginsu knife you could then kill yourself with it. Then there is always suicide by Bamboo Steamer which sounds slow but ........painful |
| iamdonte | posted 20-Apr-2004 7:50pm A Knife set - love the knives....hate the so-called freebies that you get with it that end up costing you an arm and a leg. |
| mandy | (reply to iamdonte) posted 20-Apr-2004 7:53pm Keep these away from Pomeranian! |

| Pomeranian | (reply to mandy) posted 20-Apr-2004 8:26pm Do they still sell Ginsu knives on tv? |
| Danger | posted 20-Apr-2004 9:30pm no, but i wish i had. some of the stuff they sell is really neat, although i hear most of it doesnt actually work. i kinda want one of those little food processor things where you can tap it three times and it will shred cement.... not that i'd do that, but it still sounds cool - fresh salsa whenever you want!!! how much better can it get???? |
| mandy | (reply to Pomeranian) posted 21-Apr-2004 12:20am Are you suggesting I'm old?
*hands on hips* |
| Pomeranian | (reply to mandy) posted 21-Apr-2004 2:12am Age aint nothing but a number. |

| Galomorro | posted 21-Apr-2004 9:31am No, never. None of these has ever had anything to do with me or my eclectic tastes. However, once in a while I would watch some of those music oldies infomercials -- the top hits of various decades you could buy on multiple CDs that used to be available only as 45 or 78 RPMs or LPs, that were only available by mail and not in music stores. I especially liked to hear some of the songs from the 50s. |
| romkey | posted 21-Apr-2004 10:14am No, I wouldn't watch all of an infomercial, and I'd never buy a product because of one. |
| Glassa | posted 21-Apr-2004 1:56pm Yes, I bought the Ronco Dehydrator.
I never use it. |
| ASexyBabe | (reply to Glassa) posted 21-Apr-2004 3:37pm Have you tried it? Was it a good product? |
| leahdoll | posted 21-Apr-2004 5:37pm I've boght:

| Zang | posted 21-Apr-2004 11:59pm I don't think that I've even watched one for more than a couple of minutes, if that. |

| ROCKMAN | posted 22-Apr-2004 10:40am I've never bought anything off an infomercial. I thought about it a couple times though. |
| Oscar | posted 22-Apr-2004 6:37pm A few, but I choose not to disclose the info. |
| cuteasabutton | posted 22-Apr-2004 9:47pm No- but my bf ordered that Focus Factor thing, and they were only supposed to take out 23.00$ for shipping.... they took out over 300.00$ which then caused us to be overdrawn. A lesson learned I told him. And the bank went after them- we got the money back, minus fees. |
| moonstone | posted 23-Apr-2004 11:07am *blushes*
Yes! The Miracle Blade from Chef Tony!! My husband and I would see those damned commercials EVERY weekend, and I really wanted them, so finally Mike just picked up the phone and ordered them. They do work really good, but the scissors broke, I can still use them, just part of the plastic coating stuff broke off. |
| moonstone | (reply to cuteasabutton) posted 23-Apr-2004 11:09am Hey, girl! Haven't see you around in a long time! How are you? |
| moonstone | (reply to iamdonte) posted 23-Apr-2004 11:10am What knife set? Was it "Chef Tony's"? |
| Biggles | posted 23-Apr-2004 2:41pm I've never bought. |
| SueBee | posted 23-Apr-2004 9:24pm Nope, not from an infomercial. I think I once called a number advertised on TV to order a CD though. |
| iamdonte | (reply to moonstone) posted 24-Apr-2004 10:00am Miracle Blade. |
| moonstone | (reply to iamdonte) posted 24-Apr-2004 10:03am Yeah, that's it... Chef Tony's "Miracle Blade". Do you like them? |
| iamdonte | (reply to moonstone) posted 24-Apr-2004 3:53pm I love the knives - but ordering them taught me NOT to order anything again from an infomercial. |
| Maarten | posted 24-Apr-2004 7:27pm Yes, some CD's. |
| kitti723 | (reply to mandy) posted 24-Apr-2004 10:09pm I wonder if your family could then sue the Ginsu Co. for not putting a warning on there product. ie... may result in death. |
| mandy | (reply to kitti723) posted 24-Apr-2004 10:10pm Do not use this knife while sleeping. |
| moonstone | (reply to iamdonte) posted 25-Apr-2004 3:18am I hear ya! Me too!! |
| kitti723 | (reply to mandy) posted 25-Apr-2004 10:31am Good idea!! Keep away from children, do not use while under the influence of alcohol or other mind altering substances... |

| they | posted 4-Jun-2004 3:32am Don't think so..
I have bought things that were on infomercials.. but I bought them at the store with the little "as seen on tv" sticker. |
| they | (reply to mandy) posted 4-Jun-2004 3:33am I got some Ginzu's at the dollar store about 5 years ago.. seriously |
| they | (reply to Oscar) posted 4-Jun-2004 3:37am It was the Fuzuoku wasn't it?? Do you know that thing actually used to be called the Fuk-u-ok-u?? They changed it for some strange reason |
| mandy | (reply to they) posted 4-Jun-2004 12:41pm hehehehehehe Do you cut aluminum cans in half with them? |
| they | (reply to mandy) posted 4-Jun-2004 3:58pm You can cut anything with them! They're Ginzu's. My favorite use for them is to open plastic packages... You can saw things open with them. |
| Oscar | (reply to they) posted 17-Jun-2004 10:50pm What the hey is the fuzuoku??? |
| they | (reply to Oscar) posted 18-Jun-2004 12:10am It's this little finger massager.. that was marketed at first for massaging your temples, neck, etc... and it was originally called the FUK-U-OK-U.. they changed it to Fuzuoku.. and now you can find them being sold as a sex toy.. |
