| Enheduanna | posted 11-Mar-2004 3:53pm I do, although not as often as I used to, because my allergies have been worse this winter. |
| Dino | posted 11-Mar-2004 4:00pm Yes, quite regularly |
| Jody | posted 11-Mar-2004 4:05pm Nope - allergic to fragrance. Makes me ill. |
| CarolL | posted 11-Mar-2004 4:57pm Never. Something in it gives me an INSTANT migraine! |
| freebird | posted 11-Mar-2004 4:59pm Sometimes I use incense but mostly just burn candles that have fragrance. |

| romkey | posted 11-Mar-2004 5:46pm once in a while. I have some nice temple incense from Japan that I like a lot. |
| kitti723 | posted 11-Mar-2004 6:25pm I have asthma. I prefer candles. Illuminations is the best brand. Very pricey though. I buy @ an unnamed auction website. Try it if you're into candles. You won't be disappointed. |
| Frostbrand | posted 11-Mar-2004 7:42pm Yep. And scented candles too. |
| Biggles | posted 11-Mar-2004 7:50pm I have done in the past, but I don't really like it - it makes too heavy a scent. |
| thevelvetcure | posted 11-Mar-2004 7:55pm patchouli, sandalwood, & jasmine mostly |
| ElvisFan67 | posted 11-Mar-2004 7:59pm Not that I know of. |
| ASB | posted 11-Mar-2004 9:25pm I like insense if it has a good aroma. There are lots of real bad smelling stuff out there. |
| pandora | posted 11-Mar-2004 9:53pm My favorite brand is Morning Star. |
| Amanda | posted 11-Mar-2004 11:37pm Sometimes. |
| Galomorro | posted 11-Mar-2004 11:49pm Always. First of all it's a requirement for my Buddhist practice. Second, I have always loved the stuff. The stronger the better. I especially like nag champa. If I had lots of money to spend on luxuries I'd get Whole Foods' $7 or $8 for 20 sticks or less packet, esp. the myrrh. I am always running out of it and it's hard to get really good incense with various scents that I like that has a really heavy aroma and that lasts a sufficient amount of time. |
| bill | posted 12-Mar-2004 6:03am very rarely |
| TeddyMiller | posted 12-Mar-2004 6:36am No. I've found the smell of incense very unpleasant when I've passed people selling it. |

| MssAmericat | posted 12-Mar-2004 8:58am Yes. |
| judgescratch | posted 12-Mar-2004 9:15am No! It makes my nose uncomfortable. |
| Zang | posted 12-Mar-2004 10:27am Yes. I smoke cigarettes, so consequently my apartment tends to smell like an enormous ashtray. When I'm expecting guests, I air the place out and light incense. I also have one of those aromatherapy devices where you heat scented oil over a votive candle. |
| mrsbbear | posted 12-Mar-2004 10:37am Used to enjoy it, especially on a balmy summer night lying in the dark next to my red glitter lava lamp, with the windows open and candles burning, with a margarita in one hand, and some great music on. I had sort of a second adolescence after getting divorced, and it was really the best. Sandalwoood was the best.
Now, I don't use anything that causes me to breathe smoke or chemicals because I am pregnant. Then after the baby is born, I won't burn incense in the house, because I don't want my baby breathing smoke. So no more incense, no more margaritas. It'll have to be natural oil of lavendar or orange heated on a diffuser, and a layered drink of hybiscus flowers, orange juice, and pomegranite juice instead of the margarita. |
| ferrisbueller | posted 12-Mar-2004 12:28pm It was more of a college thing for me to use incense. Some of the smells are rather distinct; for example, patchouli always reminds me of the people in college who liked the Grateful Dead. I prefer to burn candles now. However, at a party a while ago someone burned incense and I have to say I thought it smelled nice. |
| mandy | posted 12-Mar-2004 1:55pm Yes, friends gifted us with the most amazing incense. We all love it!!!!!!!! |

| Sahndya | posted 14-Mar-2004 9:01pm I don't now, because it can kill my bird. LOL. But I used to use it constantly! |
| sonikJ | posted 15-Mar-2004 1:04am No, although I do rather enjoy the scent of Nag Champa patchouli. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 15-Mar-2004 7:02pm No, the scent tends to give me headaches. |

| iwish40 | posted 22-Mar-2004 4:50pm No way, it give me a headache...The smells are too strong. |
| dragonangel4828 | posted 23-Mar-2004 2:23pm Occasionally, I use incense. I like it because it gives you smell right away. A lot of times I use candles, but they hardly smell at all. I'm a candle freak though. I think I might go buy some incense today... |
