If you had to share a cabin in a snowstorm with 3 other people, what sex would you prefer them to be?

for an indeterminate length of time, keeping in mind there's a certainty of rescue, and lots of necessities available, but no TV or any other forms of electronic entertainment

VotesAnswer

30all opposite to me
31equally divided

I just don't get along with people of the same sex. Too bad my son will probably have to marry a girl. Such is life.

Actually, I would have 2 same as me, and 1 opposite.

I am female and I get along better with men.

I prefer the company of "tom-girls", or girls who get along better with men and are more physical and cerebral in nature compared to a stereotypical female. I did say and equal mix though.

I want one male (my boyfriend), one female (my best friend), and I don't know about the third--probably another male (her boyfriend, 'cause she'd get awful cranky otherwise). So their sex really isn't an issue, except in that it's determined by their identity.

All female. It has nothing to do with eroticism or sex. During that time I would enjoy the company of a female.

The same and gay, preferrably. We'd make the Beast with Four Backs over and over and over and.......

Probably two male and one female, the female being my best friend and the males being really nice, sexy, un-involved, austrian ski instructors. The chance of rescue being only in about 2 months or so. :)

I'd be fine with any, but I do enjoy the dynamic of being the only woman in a group of guys.

I'd prefer all opposite, if only for the novelty.

how can you have equally divided 3 people?

I didn't answer. It would depend entirely on who they were. mcarlos: the question was more sinister that we realized... * smile *

I'm interested to know how you're going to equally divide three people by sex.

Now, you understand that if I make a sweeping generalization, that's just what it is, a generalization, and any given individual may fall on either side of that .... All that said, I find that in a group of women I tend to feel as if I need to work much harder to maintain my personal space. Now, with the right women, I might happily abandon that personal space for the intimate bonding that can come from being stuck in a cabin together, but I may not want to deal with that. If I had only this factor to choose (no say in the sexual preferences or age etc. etc. etc.) I would choose either 3 males or 2 males & one female. (I am female).

does equally divided mean 1 male, 1 female, and 1 hermaphrodite?

I think I'd prefer to pick specific people. And in that case they would happen to be two men and a woman. In general, I have an easier time being around men than women.

Their personalities would be more important to me than their sex.

I generally prefer the company of women (and they are better to look at than guys too). but they'd probably get sick of me before long and chuck me out into the snow.

I picked "don't care" but "it depends" is more accurate. If sex was likely to be an issue (not guaranteed), I'd prefer it set up to avoid sexual psychodrama. None of the things I'm thinking about this lend themselves to this forum. dpolicar@kenan.com, if anyone cares.
Ah steve, lovely. Of course that's the right way to answer this. In that case, it works out to 3m, 1f.
hunter:I was thinking that too, also the notion of three people each of whom were equally divided by sex, a notion that is evocative without actually being meaningful... * smile *

My friend Emma (female) would have to come. The other two would be male, and they would each be cute, strong, and sweet. *sigh* :)

Well, more fun for me if at least one is of the appropriate gender and sexuality, but I care more about whether they are decently interesting to be with, as we're likely to spend more time out of bed than in it... Unless... ORGY! * raspberry *

All opposite. Girls are a little too catty for me. Sexual activity wouldn't even come into play, unless one of the guys was my SO. Three girls and me in a cabin? No thanks.

While the idea of all opposite seems appealing, sometimes its good to have someone of the same gender in your corner.
