I may have been down all of them, I'm not sure. Around here, a freeway is a super-major highway like #1 TransCanada Highway. Other major routes like the 99 (which connects to I-5 in the states and takes you through Vancouver and all the way to Whistler) are simply highways. In England, I've been on the M-1 (motorway) and possibly others. Expressway, Parkway and Thruway sound American. I've probably been on one or more of them, but I'm not sure so I didn't pick any of them. |

Also, driveway, though where I live now some people call it a "door yard". |

Highway 666--the devil's highway in NM--they finally changed the numbers.
Other--Route 66--Tucumcari, NM--"The Mother Road"--born and raised along the route 66 coridor, it was sure interesting. |

I'm not sure I've ever been on a Motorway, but I have been on all the rest. |

Expressway, freeway, highway, parkway. "Other" options include by-way and doorway (which is gone "through" instead of "down"), and our driveway. |

A motorway, and a road into Sheffield that we call "The Parkway" but I don't know if it really is one - that's just its name. |

A lot of these. Maybe all of them. I'm not sure. I've been lots of places as a kid, on trips with people, not knowing exactly what kind of way we were on. |

Aren't they all the same?
I think Parkway is a stupid name - is this where you park? |

I don't pay attention to difference between any of them. All I know is 'motorway' is hot they refer to it in UK. |

I've been down the highway a few times. Never found it. I'm gonna head down the highway again but I've got a funny feeling it won't be there when I arrive.Something like Wizard of Oz If I ever go looking for my heart's desire again..... |
