| Enheduanna | posted 28-Jan-2004 3:10pm It varies, and it's not always specific. |
| Amanda | posted 28-Jan-2004 3:10pm Twix is my favorite. I'm not big on chocolate, though. It's very rare that I crave it. |
| mandy | posted 28-Jan-2004 4:09pm Cadburys anything! Toblerone...After Eight Mints....See's Chocolates....
Usually I end up with some substandard Hershey type product. |
| mandy | (reply to romkey) posted 28-Jan-2004 4:10pm Hershey sucks...chocolate flavoured wax...yummy |
| Dino | posted 28-Jan-2004 4:19pm Cadbury's brand. At the moment it would be Cadbury's flake. (I go through phases) |
| romkey | (reply to mandy) posted 28-Jan-2004 4:26pm I used to love Cadbury's... I love the fact that you can get them out of machines in the Tube in London...
I started doing Atkins, so no decent chocolate for me for a while |

| CarolL | posted 28-Jan-2004 5:20pm Lindor. Definitely Lindor. When I had that confounded brain aneurysm they cut through that jaw muscle that is at your temple so for about a month I couldn't fit more than about a level teaspoon in my mouth -- fudgein' Lindors didn't fit and I had a whole box of them. Crap I couldn't wait to stuff one in. No Lindors, no big macs, no cock for a long, long time. |
| CarolL | (reply to mandy) posted 28-Jan-2004 5:21pm A ton? Holy, excuse the expression, Cow! |
| Glassa | posted 28-Jan-2004 6:14pm It depends. Sometimes I want chocolate chip cookies, sometimes I want brownies, sometimes I want M&Ms, others I want the tinfoil wrapped crunchy chocolates.
I love all of the above. |
| pandora | posted 28-Jan-2004 7:34pm I don't get such general chocolate cravings, but the thing I crave most often that has chocolate is cake. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 28-Jan-2004 7:36pm I don't really care for chocolate, and I never get cravings for it but I do like M&M's. |
| callen610 | posted 28-Jan-2004 7:45pm Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting or a Dove Dark Chocolate Bar. Mmmmmm......now I'm hungry! |
| romkey | (reply to mandy) posted 28-Jan-2004 9:11pm thank you |
| Violet | posted 28-Jan-2004 11:08pm Depends on my mood. Sometimes anything will do, and sometimes it must be dark chocolate. My absolute favorite is dark chocolate with marzipan inside, but I would usually just get a Caramilk. I only buy the rich brownies when I'm feeling really indulgent. |
| mandy | (reply to romkey) posted 29-Jan-2004 1:17am You are....The Cult of the Dead Cow...literally! Advice? Tough it out...it's boring...but it isn't forever and soon you can add real foods!!!!It's only 14 days! You can do it, Baby!!!!!!!! Try some of the Atkins prepackaged stuff to make things interesting. I ate alot of seafood when I was on induction. I made little meat sandwiches using slices of swiss cheese as the bread. Pork Rinds filled with tuna and mayo. Gross stuff. I just kept telling myself that soon I could have more salad. |
| bill | posted 29-Jan-2004 9:35am I find most popular commercial chocolate bars to have so-so chocolate (which often isn't very satisfying to me). Most of the high-end chocolates (I'm not sure how well I can define this category, it's really in my head more than anything), like Lindt, are satisfying for me, so I tend to go for those, even it's only a small amount. Most chocolate shops that make their own are also very good (even Hebert's). Of the popular brands, I find "Dove" to also be good. Their little wrapped chocolates are wonderful (and they have a cute saying inside). In general, I prefer dark chocolate, though I love milk chocolate too.
I often use chocolate ice-cream to satisfy a chocolate craving as well. Chocolate cravings are pretty common for me... |
| romkey | (reply to mandy) posted 29-Jan-2004 10:57am I think I need to go a little more than 14 days on Induction I just bought beef hot dogs - 1carb each! Some of the Atkins bars have been okay... the Atkins shakes are disgusting. I tried Atkins pancakes with Atkins syrup... the pancakes were acceptable - the texture was okay, and they had absolutely no flavor. But the syrup...wow, next time I'm just smothering them in butter. Meat sandwiches sound great, I'm gonna do that! thanks |
| Zang | posted 29-Jan-2004 11:00am I don't know if they are available elsewhere, but we have these cookies here called "Goodie Rings". They are chocolate coated and have some kind of caramel/coconut centre. Those will do the trick! Other possibilities are "Wunderbar" or "Hagen Daas chocolate ice cream". |
| Cain | posted 29-Jan-2004 11:24am Milk Chocolate - preferably Galaxy but Dairy Milk would do. |

Oh - and I also love Chocolate Souffles - whenever I can find a place that serves them. They are the ultimate indulgence. |
| Biggles | posted 30-Jan-2004 11:37am I don't get chocolate cravings anymore, I tend to just get cravings for "sweet stuff". I don't eat chocolate very often now, so i suppose it's out of my system! |

| JimmyCrackCorn | posted 20-Nov-2005 8:35pm When I have a craving I usually think Timmy's doughnuts(Canadia), you know....the dipped ones. But if i had a chance to make something................. Caramilk brownies. Plus, I tend to find with the candy such as m&m's is that they are kinda waxy |

There's a small Italian hazelnut chocolate that I really love; that's probably what I'd go for. If I'm at a good restaurant that has molten chocolate cake, that would certainly satisfy me, too.
