Wow. I seem to have unexpectedly become boring. The only thing that even comes close is my recent decision to take a new job, shifting my career path somewhat.

We got cats, and that has changed a lot of things (all good). In many ways they are a replacement for having kids, they're just a lot more convenient.
Oh, and what dpolicar said.

The truth is, buying a house wasn't that huge a life change.

My smoking has become more intensified. From 3-4 cigarettes per month to a pack a month ;)

In the last year my life has not undergone any of the significant changes listed here, but I think it's been a significant year.

I thought about including the "purchase house" option, as phi and I did that, but a) like he said, it wasn't that big a change, and b) I decided to make this survey about things that completely seperate from financial or socio-economic standing, but were, rather, specifically personal changes.

Even just talking about personal changes, you left out changes in health (of self or loved one, including the death of a loved one), birth/adoption of a child, change of residence...

I started high school. Thats not too significant though; It had to happen sooner or later.

You left out graduating high school or college and being laid off, fired, quit etc.

mandy, while you may be pivotal in some ways, I believe that you mean "changeable" here (and in the other survey in which you used this word).

hunter.... I meant pivotal...it's a pet word someone dear to me assigned my ever changing directions...like a weather
vane.... turning back and forth as if on a pivot.....I am also mercurial...

I also take liberties with words and their meanings...I find words fascinating and fun to twist and mold and I adore
finding new uses for them.....I take liberties with spelling at times...with total purpose....My favorite author is
Anthony Burgess....a man who created a completely new language based on origins of Cockney rhyming
slang...gypsy...Russian....etc...for his book A Clockwork Orange.....e e cummings was a cool poet....I like to test the
limits....I apologize if this confuses people or inspires them to have to think outside what is considered normal
acceptable word usage *grins*
