| bill | posted 22-Jan-1998 7:23am Day to Day - Patty Larkin; It's a message-song about how love is more than the feeling/passion, it's a thing you have to work at day to day. |
| Beth | posted 22-Jan-1998 1:19pm My favorite song is "My Heart Will Go On" from TITANIC. It is so AWESOME!! Also, I am kind of involved in a long distance relationship and this song reminds me that we are always together because he dwells in my heart. |
| KenShingo | posted 22-Jan-1998 1:21pm Danse Infernale by Stravinsky. |
| fiore | posted 22-Jan-1998 1:42pm I don't have one. I have many favorites. People always say "Oh this is my favorite song!" when they hear it on the radio or somewhere else. Then when a new song comes out that they really like they'll say the same thing. One's favorite song should stand the test of time. |
| Atzilut | posted 22-Jan-1998 2:48pm hmmm. I sense this is probably not as hard to answer as I think it is, but htere are so many. Watermelon in Easter Hay - Zappa A Single Wish - This Mortal Coil Exploding Head Movie - Stereolab gosh, there are tons. I hate superlatives MOST OF ALL ;) |
| mozzer | posted 22-Jan-1998 5:21pm er,no.There are many songs that are special for me throughout the years, but I can't select a particular one.Nice question though,I am really curious to read the comments. |
| TJ | posted 22-Jan-1998 6:38pm Young American--David Bowie--cause it makes me crank the volumn up every time it starts and it has since the first time I heard it way back when |
| steve | posted 22-Jan-1998 8:21pm "Hook In Her Head" by Throwing Muses. Because it has interesting rhythms, the lyrics intrigue me, the guitar part at the end is incredible. |
| Jaime | posted 23-Jan-1998 5:05am Sorry, I'm not so simple-mind to have only one fav song! In fact, there are groups/artists from which I love equally all of their songs. |
| Timmi | posted 23-Jan-1998 2:55pm The House at Pooh Corner. I don't know, really. |
| Twanger | posted 23-Jan-1998 10:59pm Here There and Everywhere by the Beatles. It's completely different from most of the stuff I listen to most of the time. But that's gotta be the song that makes me feel the happiest ever. It's just about the ultimate love song. Outside of that, anything from the musical RENT |
| doom | posted 27-Jan-1998 11:31am American Pie by Don Henley. It just brings back great childhood memories. And of course it annoys Q. |
| djo23 | posted 27-Jan-1998 4:43pm You can't go around asking questions like that! |
| weth | posted 29-Jan-1998 7:42pm "Swamp Thing" by the Chameleons UK. Because it's wicked cool. |
| Artemis | posted 1-Feb-1998 9:58pm Metallica-Enter Sandman. Just because it rocks. I agree with jen too though 'Lightning Crashes' is too cool. |
| julie | posted 1-Feb-1998 11:45pm Us and Them by PINK FLOYD THEY KICK!!!!! Actually though that is one of my many favs. |
| Pomeranian | posted 2-Feb-1998 7:09pm "Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed" by David Bowie from the Space Oddity album. Space Oddity is my favorite record of all time, and that song is one of the few where even the purely instrumental parts take me to another place... |
| zoomie | posted 11-Feb-1998 1:25am High on a Mountain of Love (don't know who did this one) and Good Friends by the Poppy Family, both oldies. Many others, though. It's impossible to choose only one or two. |
| Ophelia | posted 22-Feb-1998 4:11pm Don't have one favorite song! |
| Frizbone | posted 28-Feb-1998 2:17am "Worlds Apart" by Jars of Clay...It describes my life to a "T". |
| Dolemite | posted 1-Mar-1998 4:40pm There's too many favorites. Classic rock is my favorite type of music, though. |
| elijahblue | posted 2-Mar-1998 8:54pm I'll just answer with the first thing I think of since this is impossible to answer definitively... "Power Fantastic" by Prince. It is kind of a jazz ballad, and I think one of the most magical vocals he ever did, very innocent and emotional. great jazz chords and moody arrangement (with a horn that sounds like Miles Davis). The lyrics express a lot of what I think of as the essence of Prince music. |
| joe | posted 20-Mar-1998 12:56pm this is impossible to answer. but if my life were on the line and i had to pick something, beethoven's 9th or maybe ...never mind |

| reality | posted 6-Jul-1998 1:42pm AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I don't have a one true favorite. I like a lot of music. it depends on the moment that you ask. and at this moment, I have a headache(worse than normal).. so none. |
