| LindaH | posted 27-Aug-2003 11:42pm No, absolutely not. What a silly question. |
| Amanda | posted 28-Aug-2003 12:40am Other. I wouldn't say I'm scared of myself, but sometimes my actions scare me when I look back on situations. |

| ROCKMAN | posted 28-Aug-2003 8:10am Sometimes I scare myself with some of the crazy stuff I do. The other day I jumped off the horse and grabbed a copperhead (snake) without even thinking about it and tossed it off the trail, of coarse I know snakes so I know how to handle them. |
| Enheduanna | posted 28-Aug-2003 9:22am No. |
| TeddyMiller | posted 28-Aug-2003 9:35am Yes, in the sense that I'm afraid of what I might do if I wasn't in control of myself, e.g. if I was drunk. |
| Mograt | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 28-Aug-2003 10:10am Yikes ! Have you ever been bitten ? |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Mograt) posted 28-Aug-2003 10:24am Many times, I used to collect snakes, had over 150 at a time, most of the time. All different kinds. |

| Dino | posted 28-Aug-2003 12:08pm I don't like to take drugs or get too drunk. Why? Because I am afraid of losing control of myself. |
| thevelvetcure | posted 28-Aug-2003 12:16pm To a degree yes, I know what I've done to myself, though I'm pretty sure that I won't allow myself to fall that far again, but one never knows. In addition due to what happened to my biological parents, I'm afraid of what I could be, and that I'd be a horrible parent |
| dora | posted 28-Aug-2003 12:50pm Of course. I would have to be crazy not to be. |

| ROCKMAN | (reply to Mograt) posted 28-Aug-2003 11:47pm Yea I had a bunch of tanks of all sizes, and a few large home made ones. I was living in louisiana at the time. |
| Mograt | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 29-Aug-2003 5:09am *whispers* Are you a real cowboy ? (Please, please, please say 'yes') |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Mograt) posted 29-Aug-2003 8:02am Well...I Wouldn't call myself a cowboy, I just have a love for horses, and had enough land to be able to board some horses and make a good living at it. Whats your age, sex, & loc.? |
| Mograt | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 29-Aug-2003 8:16am 36, F, UK. I only learnt to ride 2 years ago (having lessons every week and hacking out at the w/end) but haven't been recently. I keep changing riding schools as I get bored with the trails they take. My SO offered to buy me a horse and pay the livery costs but I don't think there's much point at the moment. (I'm doing a correspondence course, which takes up a lot of spare time). |
| ROCKMAN | (reply to Mograt) posted 29-Aug-2003 8:28am I have a lot of good trails on my property, but I do trailor out to other places all the time with groups of people I know. What kind of correspondence course are you taking, if you don't mind me asking? I'm thinking about doing some locksmithing studying and starting me another side business, pluss I thought it would be neat to be able to pick locks. Oh what kind of horses are you learning on? |
| Mograt | (reply to ROCKMAN) posted 29-Aug-2003 9:29am This year's course is 'An Intro to the Humanities' (literature, architecture, music, religion etc). Some of the subjects are hard work, as they're not really things I'm interested in but it's part of the course, so... I want to get a BA (Hons) in Humanities with Classical Studies, which I think should take me about 6-yrs. Next year should be good as I'll be studying Roman and Greek culture - that's what really interests me ! I didn't know you could take a correspondence course in locksmithing. Don't you need the locks to test on ? My current riding school has (mainly) Welsh Cobs, one Shire, and a few (gelded) Thoroughbreds. My favourite is a chestnut Thoroughbred called 'Murphy'; gorgeous horse. |

| caviartaste | posted 24-Sep-2003 9:27am not everyday, no. Am I capable of being afraid of myself? Afraid of what I'm capable of? Yep. sure......and have scared myself a few times - was mad enough and poised to kill somebody once when he threatened me and I didnt realize I had it in me! |
| Iseult | posted 27-Oct-2003 4:09pm Well, my biggest fear in last three days is if I'm going to reveal something about myself that I should not reveal. Actually, I revealed it to one person, and I am assured she won't tell anyone. |
