| Galomorro | posted 13-Aug-2003 10:29pm Just 2. It was an impulse thing. Back in the 70s I was a big Stones fan so got a" -Stones-" tattoo and one of those tongue logos they had. Now I'm not a fan any longer, though I still think they're okay, but I don't really care to get anymore tattoos. |
| SueBee | posted 13-Aug-2003 11:42pm I have 4, and I have an appointment to get a new one on the top of my foot next Thursday. I'm so excited! It's beautiful artwork by Mandy, and I know it's going to be my new favorite tattoo! |
| SueBee | (reply to Zang) posted 13-Aug-2003 11:44pm Oh, shoot! Were we supposed to match our punctuation to the survey question? I screwed up. |
| Irene007 | posted 14-Aug-2003 2:38am 1 - I inadvertently poked myself with an Indian ink pen (in the days where computers were not used in graphic arts) on my left index finger. Does this count? |
| Dino | posted 14-Aug-2003 4:11am I don't have any tattoos but may get some in the future - I have my one designed by the beautiful Mandy and its burning a whole in my brain demanding to be etched into my delicate body. I believe it to be cursed! http://hometown.aol.com/MiserableSpice/myhomepage/gaylesbian.html see my Mandy's tattoo design here! |

| LindaH | (reply to Zang) posted 14-Aug-2003 4:54pm I get a feeling the US school system is emphasizing and drilling in proper capitalization for titles. A lot of people know it to the point of overusing it! |
| Zang | (reply to LindaH) posted 14-Aug-2003 5:02pm There's an interesting dichotomy between those who use none and those who use too much. |
| srflorida | posted 14-Aug-2003 9:06pm none, never plan to. Way to permanent for my taste! |

| SueBee | (reply to Zang) posted 15-Aug-2003 7:19pm Well, damn! I screwed up twice! I remember thinking something wasn't right when I was typing that comment, but Mandy was talking to me and I was distracted. Yeah, that's it, I'll blame her. And you spelled capitalization like a Canadian or somethin'. ( hee hee!) |
| kaos2003 | posted 15-Aug-2003 8:12pm I only have 5 because i enjoy the experience of getting them sooo much that i know i need to pace myself. It's surprising how much they have come to mean to me. I only got each one because i liked it aesthetically at the time, but as i've lived with them, i've never forgotten the precise circumstances of my life at the time i got them. So i suppose that inadvertently they've become meaningful. |
| Richard47 | posted 16-Aug-2003 7:05am None. This stems back to my Hollywood days when an agent frowned upon a client have a tattoo. They would practically inspect you (naked) to see if you were truthful. I think things have changed, now ,in the industry. |
| Richard47 | (reply to Hyena) posted 16-Aug-2003 7:07am Try a black dot. It goes with everything and people thinks it's a mole! |

| Irene007 | (reply to Richard47) posted 21-Aug-2003 10:09pm Because of your reference to "Dieu"... BTW, where did you learn French? Toi, mon petit échinocystis lobé? |
| mandy | (reply to SueBee) posted 21-Aug-2003 10:10pm It's soooooo cooollllll |
| Richard47 | (reply to Irene007) posted 22-Aug-2003 4:48pm I wasn't aware that "Dieu" was indicative to Catholics, only. ................................. I learned French at Notre Dame. |
| Richard47 | (reply to SueBee) posted 22-Aug-2003 4:54pm All that gratitude won't change her attitude....continuing giving her the latitude, I guess |
| Hyena | (reply to Richard47) posted 23-Aug-2003 9:30am Well, just to let you know ... I took your advice and it's a hit (and a convenient target)! |
| Richard47 | (reply to Hyena) posted 24-Aug-2003 8:21am I know what you are saying, Hyena. My advice is priceless. Good things are bound to come your way now!! |
| Irene007 | (reply to Richard47) posted 26-Aug-2003 8:16pm Dieu, oui c'est catholique - les protestants sont anglais!! Notre-Dame what?? There are so many of these "dames" where I come from, you must be more specific! I live on a street one bloc away from Notre-Dame Street, 1 km away is the other Notre-Dame Street (different town). Then you cross the bridge, and you're on Notre-Dame Street in Montreal... Besides the streets, there are schools, colleges, hospitals and etc. that bear the same name... And Notre-Dame is always French and Catholic!! |

| Irene007 | (reply to Richard47) posted 3-Sep-2003 9:49pm Je n'ai jamais mangé de poisson le vendredi!! So I don't hate fish like all the other Catholics, in fact; I love it! My Mom is from Nova Scotia and she ate fish be necessity not by obligation like the Catholic farmers in land. They had to eat fish on Fridays that had travelled a little to reach them or it was salted. I can't blame them for hating the stuff... Boy, am I lucky! |

| pandora | posted 11-Sep-2003 2:02am I want to get a sentence that is very meaningful to me, tattooed on my lower leg, in a spiral, but I'm not very confident that it will turn out to look the way I want it to, especially because I want a very specific type of lettering. Hmmm. |
