There's an old church downtown that has bells that ring everyday for noon mass. The last time I heard them was probably 4 or 5 months ago.

Sometime in the last few months I think. Not the sort of thing that I keep careful track of. There's an old church downtown that rings bells for services. I'm pretty sure that I've heard them at some point within the past year.

Freaky! We both said: "There's an old church downtown that..."! * surprise *

I'm not sure; within the last month, though, I'm sure. Sometimes I can hear them from my apartment.

I hear them every day (at least Mon-Fr). There is a large Baptist Church in the downtown Eugene area that has a bell tower that marks the hours.

Last week. I live a block from a huge Catholic church at the top of Nob Hill in San Francisco. It's a great tourist attraction and I hear its bells every week.

I used to live up the hill from a church with a carillon. The only time I've heard church bells (actual bells) was, I think, when I visited the Washington Cathedral in Washington, DC.

I think it was actually an Ozzy Osbourne song!

I live in a small village with its own church. (Bells ring every hour on the hour - cute.)

Yesterday - it was Sunday, and one of the churches on my street rang its bells to call people to worship.

I don't pay for broadband, so it's not as good as my work connection... but the tin cans and bits of string are working okay. * smile *
