| DeeDee17 | posted 12-Jul-2003 8:02pm Well, I just had lunch at a buffet, so I had quite a few things. I had salad, carrots, corn, a muffin, some breadsticks, and some stuffing. For dessert I had ice cream, cherry cheesecake, and strawberry mousse. |
| wolfchik9 | posted 12-Jul-2003 8:29pm If a snack counts as a meal, for the purposes of this survey, I had some white russian cheesecake. If snacks don't count, I had eggs and toast with chocolate milk for breakfast. |
| pandora | posted 12-Jul-2003 8:29pm Two cookies. Bleh. Been eating only junk lately. Before that I had a piece of pizza. I haven't been very hungry at all, so why must the things I actually *do* eat, be crap? |

| juliw | (reply to mandy) posted 13-Jul-2003 6:18pm Sounds like you have been dieting. I give anyone a lot of credit for doing that. Good luck! |
| mandy | (reply to juliw) posted 13-Jul-2003 8:50pm Not dieting actually. Just made some really dramatic and hopefully long lasting changes to the way I think about food and health. It feels really amazing. Coupled with exercise, the weight is just melting off and my muscles are beautiful! |
| SueBee | posted 13-Jul-2003 10:44pm I just stuffed myself on glazed chicken wings, and stir fried veggies with rice. Yum! It was good! I haven't been cooking much lately, so it was nice to eat something homemade again. I was getting really tired of convenience foods, but I've been so busy. |
| SueBee | (reply to romkey) posted 13-Jul-2003 10:46pm Yum! Did you cook? How was the flan? |
| SueBee | (reply to bill) posted 13-Jul-2003 10:48pm Are Cocoa Pebbles better than Cocoa Puffs? |
| romkey | (reply to SueBee) posted 13-Jul-2003 11:36pm Sue! Hi! I was going to send you email because I hadn't seen you in so long! yup, I made dinner that night... the flan was okay... it's only the second time I've made flan... it wasn't magnificent how are you? |
| SueBee | (reply to romkey) posted 14-Jul-2003 12:07am I'm fine! I was sick for 6 weeks in May/June, then spent 60 hours of my spare time helping my uncle paint his house. I'm glad I did it, since he paid me, and that money beefed up the down payment on the car I just bought. I love the car (a black 2003 Ford Focus) and I'm so happy to be healthy again, and to have the obligation of the painting finished. Now I can start cooking again!! BTW, happy anniversary to you and Lion! |

| bill | (reply to SueBee) posted 14-Jul-2003 8:39am ...a timeless question. Clearly, both have their merits. But Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs blow them both away. Peanut Butter Puffs are too good, I can't stop eating them, so I can't buy them that often. |
| Jody | posted 14-Jul-2003 9:13am a bowl of cinnamon life cereal. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 14-Jul-2003 10:06am Sloppy Joes last night. |
| Biggles | posted 14-Jul-2003 11:36am It was dinner (midday meal). Me and my mum had the same thing: leftovers from our barbeque yesterday. Potato salad; green salad; pasta salad; a hard-boiled egg; garlic, herb & rocket dip. My mum put everything onto the plates, but I'd made most of the food yesterday. |
| icurok | posted 14-Jul-2003 2:12pm The hot food in the office canteen at lunchtime today looked particularly foul so I opted for a pack of prawn sarnies, a still blackcurrant drink and a banana. |
| romkey | (reply to SueBee) posted 14-Jul-2003 4:05pm yay! I'm really sorry to hear you were sick... I'm glad you're better and back with us |
| juliw | (reply to mandy) posted 14-Jul-2003 5:40pm I am really happy for you! I really need to make some major changes in the way I eat and the amount of exercise I get. You have always been a beautiful person! |
| Jemmy | posted 14-Jul-2003 6:50pm Uh...a sort of homemade mini-pizza, salad, and strawberries. With choclate milk. |
| mandy | (reply to juliw) posted 14-Jul-2003 9:52pm So have you darling! |
| SueBee | (reply to bill) posted 15-Jul-2003 12:22am Peanut butter? Oh no. Now you've done it. The cereal isle at the grocery store will be beckoning to me next time I go shopping. |
| SueBee | (reply to romkey) posted 15-Jul-2003 12:24am Thanks, John! You're a sweetie! |
| bill | (reply to SueBee) posted 15-Jul-2003 7:33am Seriously, you may want to just never even try it. It's the heroin of cereals. You'll say to yourself, "just one bowl", but you'll wake up the next day on the floor in a gluttonous stupor, empty boxes of Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs all around you. |
| Glassa | posted 15-Jul-2003 1:51pm I'm eating lunch at work. I had a bowl of chicken and rice soup with croutons, half a cup of cherry vanilla yogurt, 2 apples and I might have an orange. |

| juliw | (reply to mandy) posted 15-Jul-2003 6:11pm Thanks...you know something, I am really starting to get scared about this digital camera thing we are passing around. I don't know if I have the guts to post my ugly mug on this site. Don't want to scare people! |
| SueBee | (reply to bill) posted 15-Jul-2003 10:04pm Thanks for the warning. I'll try to resist, but if they ever go on sale cheap I'm in trouble. That'll just be too much. |
| SueBee | (reply to juliw) posted 15-Jul-2003 10:06pm Don't worry, honey. The camera will be broken before it gets to you because it'll be taking my picture next. |

| SueBee | (reply to romkey) posted 16-Jul-2003 11:15pm We have a Krispy Kreme now, only about 4 or 5 miles from our house! I used to just wonder what they were like when you guys talked about it. Now I actually feel my pants getting tighter, because I KNOW what they're like! |
| SueBee | (reply to juliw) posted 16-Jul-2003 11:18pm You're way too sweet! I lost that link, too. I bet it's still there, but I'll be darned if I can remember how to find it. |
| LindaH | (reply to SueBee) posted 16-Jul-2003 11:29pm |
| romkey | (reply to bill) posted 16-Jul-2003 11:34pm I hope not. Which do we get first... Starbucks or Krispy Kreme? |
| romkey | (reply to SueBee) posted 16-Jul-2003 11:34pm I have diligently avoided this new local Krispy Kreme in Malden |
| Biggles | posted 17-Jul-2003 12:06pm I haven't really had a meal today. I ate a sandwich from Marks on the bus home from town ("Pizza tortilla wrap with mozzarella, tomato and rocket") which was pretty foul. Shame, because their sarnies are usually pretty darn good. I ate an avocado when I got home and four bitesize chocolate rolls. I had two mini Twister lollies about an hour ago - because it's hot. |
| pandora | posted 17-Jul-2003 1:19pm I just finished up a few cashews and a quesadilla. Still haven't been hungry at all...but my cravings are starting to get healthier, bit by bit. |

Then I ate a couple of mini gingerbread men (I didn't manage to get my brother a card, so I baked him a big (foot tall) gingerbread man playing a bass guitar (his main birthday present) but there was lots of dough left over so I made some mini ones as well |
