Friends
Monarch of the Glen
That 70's Show
The Simpsons
Fraiser (not as much as before)
Radioactive

I like sitcoms, because I can't stand tv series, because they're all low budgets, and plain bad - similar plot, bad acting, and all with the same old stupid good message.

NOT. Since I don't have cable, I just listen to the 2 channels I can get, usually just to morning and evening newscasts. Once in a great while I will see a blurry X-Files or another fairly interesting movie but since the quality is so bad it's not terribly pleasant to watch.

Mostly crap. But I really enjoy Extreme Homes on the home and garden channel. They also have a show about renovating old buildings like banks or schools and turning them into homes that I like quite a bit.

It varies. But if there's an interesting movie on, I'll watch it. But on more of a fixed schedule, I'll watch WWE Raw on Monday nights, and watch some game shows on Game Show Network. When I'm home on Sundays, I watch NASCAR racing and the Dallas Cowboys during the NFL season.

I just started (because it just started) the new season of The Osbournes (Ozzy and nitrous oxide-what a hoot), I was watching Buffy until the series ended, ER, Primetime, 20/20, Dateline, Cops and I can't remember what else. I also plan to watch the new season of Monk (The Defective Detective) when it starts its new season June 20th (my son is taping it for me as well).

I watched a batch of "Punk'd" (an MTV hidden camera show) and then a bunch of "The Osbournes" (which I'd been ignoring previously). I enjoyed both. I also watched the MTV Movie Awards. I feel so cool now that I'm one with MTV, though I also have an odd urge to buy Clearasil.

'Six Feet Under' is back on and I'm glad. I love that.
Also been watching 'Friends' and 'Will & Grace'.
'Smallville', 'Charmed' and 'Dark Angel' are also regulars that I watch.

Just realised that they're all American programmes. God, Brit TV is crape sometimes.
I like the odd Interior Decorating programme like 'Changing Rooms', 'Home Front' and 'Better Homes' - and I sometimes watch 'Holby City' which is a hospital drama but really I mainly watch American TV.
I've avoided getting hooked on 'Big Brother' this year.

The West Wing, 24, Coupling and the Animatrix are the only ones I've seen while I've been at university this term. They're all series that me or one of my friends have on DVD, apart from 24 that we go to watch at a society (they have the episodes sent over form the US, ahead of them being shown on the BBC).

> * smile * You're evil! I hate people who put others on ignore. You just gained some respect from me, although I love Ab Fab too. I don't know why it's a gay icon show. It's about two hetero female friends. Maybe the gays can relate to all the drug use and the money.
Richard47
(reply to kaleb777) posted 8-Jul-2003 9:15am
( I don't think the above reply was meant for me * wink * )...but "Ab Fab" is popular with the gay male population much for the same reason "Sex And The City" is ( without seeing a cute guys butt, though). The appeal has to do more with the "men" aspect than the "drugs" and "money"...though that is a part of it.

Ah, that's about where I gave up on it completely. I watched it on and off until I went to university, but it just got stupider and stupider, and more and more soap-like. All that stupid storyline with Luke and Gilmore......

Our police don't need to carry guns. We have armed response units, and that's enough. Police get killed very rarely here.

I like picking the different accents. I think it's really weird how there are so many accents in such a small area. Australia basically has one accent if you ignore the Greeks in Melbourne and the 'westies' in the western suburbs of Sydney who have a povo (poverty stricken * wink * ) accent. I wans't thinking about police getting killed, just how weird it is that people stop running (at least on The Bill)from police when they yell stop. Here people keep running with a gun aimed at their backs.
